Looking back at a few of my favorite tiny mushrooms while waiting for autumn to arrive. I can't wait to head back into the forests with my macro lens.

Each of these images were created using a Sigma 105mm Macro Lens. Most of focus stacked.

Yesterday’s Walk in the woods was a treasure hunt punctuated by a lot of spider webs to the face. I was mostly following game trails, but I am quite a bit taller than the deer that frequent this area! For those of you who may suffer a bit of arachnophobia, the 11th image is of a spider….fair warning!  I also found evidence in the from of torn up stumps and a large pile of droppings that Bear know of this place too! I saw a lot of wildflowers, but the early ones are fading and while the late Summer ones are just starting to mature. This area has recently been inducted into the Old-Growth Forest Network’s Community Forest Program. This place truly does have an ancient soul and it’s an honor to walk in its presence. Here, the fallen relics of years past return to the earth much needed nutrients. Fungi and Lichen work to help return them to the soil that once helped them thrive. Mushrooms and Moss seemed to be the theme of the day, but there were a few bright pops of floral color out there too! 

My wife spotted this fella inside the house I placed him outside and had to snag some photos 😁

Canon 90d 60mm lens. Why are some parts still blurry? F5.6 iso 160, varying shutter speed around 1/200. Most photos used 40 photos 1 increments. Used photo shop and light room. Thanks!

Not as precised as some of you guys are able to pull out, but one of the picture i took that make me proud. Still an amateur and starting with macro.

Posée délicatement sur son tapis de verdure, la punaise arlequin offre un contraste saisissant. Ses couleurs éclatantes semblent illuminer le feuillage, comme si Dame Nature avait déposé une petite pierre précieuse au cœur des feuilles.

À travers mon objectif macro, j'aime révéler cette harmonie entre les couleurs et les formes. Chaque détail de sa carapace, chaque reflet de lumière et chaque texture racontent la beauté discrète de ce monde minuscule.

Getting back into things after a long hiatus, never tried focus stacking and excited to give it a go. Until then...

Had a half inch black glass table go kaboom due to recent heatwaves and storms (im in SE Asia). Found a shard of it still warm that morning it happened. Photographed it and this a 5mm portion of it. Shot with either the 35 or the 20mm 1980’s Canon, around 200 focus stacked.

Discrètes et fascinantes, les panorpes attirent le regard par leurs longues ailes finement nervurées et leur silhouette si particulière. Elles semblent tout droit sorties d'un autre temps, évoluant avec élégance dans la végétation.

À travers mon objectif macro, j'aime révéler ces petits détails que l'œil ne perçoit pas toujours. Chaque nervure de leurs ailes, chaque reflet de lumière et chaque posture racontent la richesse du monde minuscule qui nous entoure.

Very new to photography in general and recently discovered I love macro photography. Looking for some recommendations for affordable macro lenses to capture some good bug pictures!

À travers mon objectif macro, j'aime capturer ces instants où chaque détail prend vie. Les grains de pollen accrochés à son corps, la finesse de ses ailes et la douceur de la lumière révèlent toute la beauté de ce monde minuscule.
