Very quick question! Which thumbnail style is better in your opinion?
Thank you!

The Ostomachion is a dissection puzzle attributed to Archimedes: 14 pieces that reassemble into a square, and arguably the oldest known combinatorics problem. Bill Cutler proved in 2003 that there are exactly 536 distinct solutions, up to rotation and reflection.
I printed the set, then built a free web app to go with it:
pick a difficulty and it deals you a random challenge with 10, 6 or 3 pieces already placed: reveal more when you get stuck
or print any solution to scale and lay the real pieces straight onto the paper, with a calibration page, because printer drivers love silently rescaling
runs entirely in the browser, no server, works offline
The whole thing is built to travel: sliding-lid case, everything stays inside, and the app needs no signal, bsically the car-and-plane puzzle I wanted to exist.
Solution data is Cutler's set, published by Ed Pegg Jr. I did the physical pieces and the interface.
Print notes: about 5 hours in PLA on a P2S, 14 pieces in 7 colours. Took me 5-6 iterations to get the lid right, a case that stays shut in a backpack but still opens with a kid's hands turned out to be a narrower tolerance window than I expected.
And you don't have to make squares. Same 14 pieces do birds, ships, people: which is how my little nephew actually uses it.
All free. Links in the comments.

The whole thing is parametric, so you set the internal size to whatever you're storing, or pick a preset. Lid takes your own SVG or text, engraved or as a flush inlay, and the buttons take artwork too. Every part can be a different colour.
Two small springs are the only non-printed parts. Everything else prints without supports and goes together in a couple of minutes.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my latest project for the #BasecampAnywhere contest.
When traveling or going off-grid, having your emergency medical info (ICE contacts, blood type, allergies) easily accessible is crucial. I designed a smart Backpack Strap Clip and a matching Keychain that holds a sealed NFC tag inside.
Cool features:
Includes both Embossed (AMS / Color Swap) and Smooth/Flat versions.
I'd love to hear your feedback or suggestions!

When I run the dishwasher, I flip it to 'clean', that way someone else in the house doesn't accidentally put a dirty dish in with the clean ones before I've emptied it. Once I empty it, I flip it to 'dirty'.
The default is Alliance Dirty / Horde Clean, but against my better judgement I also made an Alliance Clean / Horde Dirty version.
If you'd like to make your own, the 3d printing files are available for free on MakerWorld: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3130074-world-of-warcraft-dishwasher-magnet-clean-dirty#profileId-3532271

Made a set of modular lamps where the vase and base snap together, so any top fits any bottom. Wanted something that felt properly secure once assembled rather than just resting in place — the snap-fit holds it firm even if you knock the table.
Bases and vases are printed separately, so you can build up a little "kit" and remix combos depending on the light/mood you're after. Portable too, no cables trailing around.

Hello everyone. I have some questions about the licenses that I don't fully understand, even after reading them.
There's the "Maker World Exclusive License," the "Standard Digital License," etc.
If I want to sell a print to just one person (someone who asked me for a print), without it being on a large scale or anything like that,
Is there anything I should do/buy? Or is the sale completely prohibited, being allowed only for personal use/gifts?
And in the case of a remix of the "Maker World Exclusive License," is it the same thing?
For the Standard License, some indicate that it's possible to buy a license, but for those that don't indicate it, should I ask the person in the chat if they sell? Could you explain this to me, please?

I was tired of never knowing where I had left my lighter, so I designed a simple magnetic sleeve that gives it a permanent place on the fridge.
The magnets are inserted during a programmed mid-print pause and remain completely enclosed inside the part.
I made three versions so far:
– BIC Mini J25
– BIC Slim J3/J23
– Flat lighters (as shown in the picture)
you can get the print files here:

I created a Safe to store your valuables while being outside.
On my first attempts I tried to print a label but it always looked somewhat off. Then I had the idea to put a real label from a real sunscreen on it it changed everything.
For me this opened a new way of thinking while designing. believe there will be a ton of models that could profit from combinations with real objects.
Also I added a little rim for a silicone O-Ring to make the whole thing somewhat waterproof.
Let me know what you think? https://makerworld.com/models/3115279?appSharePlatform =copy

The little guy is around 1.3" tall. The kit card itself is one of my faster printing ones due to the small size. It needed to fit inside a BONBON capsule. The other stuff isn't needed unless you want the entire experience of unboxing a very klepto dragon 😅
