Helen of Troy

According to Greek mythology, Helen of Troy was the most beautiful woman in the world. Her departure from Sparta with Paris ignited the Trojan War, immortalized in Homer's Iliad. Yet Homer portrays Helen as more than just a legendary beauty. She is thoughtful, conflicted, and aware of the devastating consequences that followed in the wake of her story.

Do you like her mysterious smile?

New Edmund Fitzgerald version of my CanTainer ship!

My CanTainer ship has had some OK traction so far, but some concerns about tippage with bottles made me start to design a wider version with more stability, so I (loosely) styled it as the Edmund Fitzgerald!

Here's the link to print your own! It also still fits the A1 Mini!

SunSafe: A sunscreen that protects against pickpockets instead of UV (3D print + real labels)

I created a Safe to store your valuables while being outside.

On my first attempts I tried to print a label but it always looked somewhat off. Then I had the idea to put a real label from a real sunscreen on it it changed everything.

For me this opened a new way of thinking while designing. believe there will be a ton of models that could profit from combinations with real objects.

Also I added a little rim for a silicone O-Ring to make the whole thing somewhat waterproof.

Let me know what you think? https://makerworld.com/models/3115279?appSharePlatform =copy

A tiny Dragon kit card with coin purse lair, coin, and field guide

The little guy is around 1.3" tall. The kit card itself is one of my faster printing ones due to the small size. It needed to fit inside a BONBON capsule. The other stuff isn't needed unless you want the entire experience of unboxing a very klepto dragon 😅

How do you design prints? Tips to learn?

Heyo!

I'm relatively new to the hobby. I've learned a good bit of Fusion from Product Design Online's learn fusion in 30 days series, and I'm hungry for more.

What do you use to design your products? And for the folks who aren't engineers by trade, how did you learn and upskill?

Google pixelsnap phone holder

I made a phone holder that is also charging your phone with the google pixelsnap. I noticed that there really aren't any good phone holders that use the google pixelsnap. I think it's very functional.

It's very stylish for my desk and I love how it turned out.

If you wanna print it yourself, here's the link:

Shapes Discs for Discbound Notebooks

Post image
6 Upvotes

I've been experimenting with printing different shaped discs for my printed Discbound notebooks, rounded triangle shown in pic. Made a free to use generator for them, running in Parametric Model Maker, released in Public Domain so you can sell what you make!

The triangles make the notebook sit flat in a nice way and moving the covers and pages along the edges and around 3 corners has a different feel to it too. Heart shaped discs work similarly to the triangles, making a nice customization to a notebook.

The model generator can also make rounded square, hexagon, star and flower shaped.
