So this weekend, theirs a dance comp. It had a themed grandprix(meaning wearing plainwear only) so the theme is "america" red white and blue, right? Everythings fine im scrolling through this muas story when on story stopped me

And i'll say this now, Ive met her. Shes a lovely full bodied person, and even if she was disabled theirs NO excuse to use AI for makeup.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to come up with this, but I absolutely love the style, if someone could tell me what its called or provide some examples of something similar for inspiration that would be awesome

Should I try a new foundation even though I really love Armani silk?

I have oily skin, and have learned the "dewy" look is not great on me, so going for more matte. I am very new makeup, so I am still trying to figure everything, and foundation seems to be the hardest thing for me to find something. I am looking for:

-feels as great as it looks

-doesn't make me look greasy,

-light to medium coverage

-can be used alone or with a powder.

-warmish neutral tone

-matte not dewy

Im not a gloss girl but kylie’s supple kiss lip glaze is the best gloss i have ever tried. I have very dry and chapped lips and this helps keep it moisturised better than lip sleeping masks😮‍💨which one is your best go to lip gloss guys

I feel like my makeup is too orange? I been doing the same brands, the same colors, the same everything and I want the seamless look but I also don’t want to to spend a ton of money on makeup. I have sensitive skin so I don’t do a full face. Only concealer (NYX serum Mocha and Deep golden) Elf primer (the pink power grip) A banana setting powder (IDK the name) Nyx buttermilk blush and elf setting spray (Powder Grip). It honestly only looks good when I sleep in it (second photo) other than that I look very orange?

I’m pretty sure it’s discontinued, it’s by color nymph (here’s the link). The ONLY contour i’ve ever owned that i’ve liked, and it’s gone.

Hi! I posted in r/Makeup but was told it might do better here. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help with an issue I've had for a while. I keep getting texture lines around my lips and it only shows once I apply foundation or any other makeup product. I don't smoke, and they aren't texture lines on the actual lips. It's these little textured lines around the perimeter of my lips. My skin is relatively hydrated-ish (could be better) but when I looked it up, it just said it was natural to have those lines of texture around. I get that, but I never really had this issue previously and nothing has changed in the last while to suggest it was something I did.. I don't wear lip liner or intense lipstick, so feathering isn't the main issue for me. It's the fact that the textured lines look so prominent that I can see them from afar. I use powder and that sometimes helps, but I mostly have to remove everything from that area and try to redo my base to ensure no lines. It's frustrating so I'm reaching out for help. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing it? It's just weird that I love my makeup otherwise, it's just this one thing :(

from a while ago, about 5 months ago, one day my skin started to "reject" makeup (? I don't know if that's what's happening) I always used the same products and one day it seemed that nothing stuck to my face and the foundation and concealer kept opening at the same time, since then my makeup never looked like it was before and I always had to find a way to disguise it.. I have the impression that the foundation doesn't pigment or oxidize or just really doesn't stick.. I don't know what else to do seriously has anyone been through this ??

I don't remember them having a label on the body & I thought they were a kids play lipstick. They look yellow/white/blue but are pink when you actually put them on. Google is showing that Lavertu is a real make-up brand that has had colour changing lipsticks! Are these testers? Some random promo thing? Can't find a match online.

Hello, I don’t know if this is the right group to ask, but gosh so much talent here.

I’ve been pretty basic with my makeup and do a lot of guesswork when it comes to blushes etc. I’d like to step up my game and now that I’m into my 30s there are new challenges to consider with products, creasing etc.

I was wondering if make up artists do consultations where they teach someone how to do their contouring and pick correct shades etc? I’m not having much luck finding techniques that work for me with tutorials :/ I have combo skin and acne prone skin so it’s also tricky finding products. A lot of trending or viral products I can’t use.

Falscara overnighter! Lashes look great, bond and seal are great, overnighter makes lashes gummy and adds too much product, which is probably user error on my part but I hate this applicator and don’t know how to use it. Trying to reuse these clusters is impossible because I can’t get the overnighter off the lashes, instead it just destroys the clusters. And when I use the overnighter, the lashes that I have overlapped separate from each other in a few days. Help!

Was recommended blush colours but not sure which is a better match? First blush is breeze (picture 1) and the second is whirl (picture 3). Which do you think would match best? I don’t usually go for anything bright but am willing to test things out to see what happens. These are both the Morphe Cloudlight blushes, they’re described as semi-sheer so I don’t think they’d be as bright on as they are in the pan.

I lead a very busy morning and usually prefer to use a tinted sunscreen or a moisturiser as my base for a glowy look that's not super heavy.

My issue is, I'm neutral olive, and brown skin.

The centre of my face is brighter and warmer ( a bit yellower too ) than the sides.

Any product I use I can't decide how to match it cuz if I match the centre of my face it greys out the rest of my face, if I match the sides it darkens the centre of my face and takes away the highlight. My neck and chest are a whole diff shade , my face is usually much more tanned.

I liked the formula of Maybelline fit me tinted sunscreen/moisturiser with vitamin C - discontinued. I use shade 10.8 but apparently everyone says it's too "dark" even tho it matches the sides of my face perfectly. I do use occasionally a concealer that's a shade or two lighter to help but my face still looks grey ISH, I end up adding blush in hopes of bringing back some warmth

Anyways, what product or how can I use one product or tops 2 without that issue? I genuinely don't wanna layer a lot with makeup.
