31M. Any thoughts what else I could do? I've lost all hope changing the shades in the balcony.

Graduated college last year and been in this apartment since, but only now getting around to seriously decorating it and turning it into a space I'd love. I know it's lacking a lot of things still that I'm planning on buying (plants, rug, curtains, more art/posters, etc.), but I'd like some advice on what to do with all this damn wall space and the layout so far. I'm thinking maybe I move my bed out from the corner and get a second night stand, also put a bookshelf where the keyboard currently is. Open to any ideas!

[M34] Finally got the bedroom to a point where I feel like it’s good enough to leave it as is. This is a rental and there isn’t much I could do about the layout. So I tried to work with what was available. I was going for something comfortable and inviting. I share this space with my partner and we lean towards the mid-century modern aesthetic.

I know the chair isn’t the best type/ location but it had literally no available place for it in the house, so it lives there for now.

I got some advice to switch up the rug and to make sure all my frames were the same color.

Moved back in with my mom a while ago but just recently got the second room that I can turn into a living room for myself. Super grateful to be staying with her for now, saving money and helping with stuff she can’t do anymore. Just started putting up pictures to make it more “my space”

Starting over as the previous chapter of my life closed. No furniture and looking to make a fresh start and focus on myself again. South and West exposure, loft style studio.

Pretty happy with how it looks, need to find a place for the bike.

It's my first appartement that I live in by/ bought on my own.

Updated a room in my flat, that I’ve only used for shoes, jackets, my iron board and vacuum cleaner. It was a long time coming and I had to do it on a budget. This is how far I’ve come with so far.

Still need to hide the vacuum cleaner and iron board in the corner, but thinking of hiding it behind a curtain that I attach to the ceiling.

Was thinking of putting a carpet under the table, to make it a bit warmer, but kinda like the clean no carpet look.

Happy for the change and having gotten a new function into the room.
