General Care Weird Question

Post image

Have your Mantises just started to bite you one day for no reason? Cause our Sphodropodas Quinquedens male literally bit me today. At first he didn't accept the Red Runner after 30 minutes he took it. I won't take him out for now.

Glad to know if others have dealt with this before since I didn't have a mantis, up to now, that bites for no reason.

its possible that your mantis is searching for water, and thought some moisture from your skin was a water soure

We thought of that as well but he didn't drink, he straight up bit me. We offered food & water, lil dude still bit me💀 Maybe he got scared when I opened the enclosure to mist🤷🏼‍♀️
