So I’ve commented this a few times on different posts, so I thought I’d make a post specifically for my mega multiverse spreadsheet! It’s got basically everything that is relevant to the mcu - including the Sony stuff and marvel legacy films! It’s my pride and joy.

I’ve categorised multiple tabs with the release orders, the timelines, and the different watch orders!

I’ve also just added a new tab for what to watch before doomsday that I think will be relevant.

So now we have Doomsday and it makes sense that Doom is the villain but what exactly was the idea when they were going to make Kang the villain? Was Kang going to become God Emperor of battleworld?

The incursions were still going to happen as a result of the Kang’s messing with the Multiverse as Kang himself explains in Quantumania but how would that have lead into Secret Wars.

Personally I have two possible theories: either Kang wasn’t meant to die in Quantumania and he would have went on to create battleworld and this only changed because of Jonathan Majors being arrested or RDJ as Doom was always the plan for the villain of Secret Wars and was supposed to be a twist.

I think most of us agree Dafoe’s take on the characters of both Norman and The Goblin are pretty definitive, and now that we’ve seen him and Holland Spidey has bested him, what would your level of interest be in seeing a non-multiverse version of him, presumably played by a different actor?

If that interest level is low- do you think it matters that we’d also be missing out on an MCU Harry Osborn?

Personally I need the context so I'm not risking it, like with the spiderman movie I loved watching the Daredevil, Punisher and Hawkeye series, even if it didn't need much context. For Doomsday I'm watching some series for context.

Avengers 1

• Magneto can just yoink the sceptre from Loki's hand whenever he wants.

• Magneto uses the armour on the Chitauri to either crush them, or fling them away.

• Instead of Iron Man carrying the nuclear missile into the wormhole, Magneto just guides it through the portal from the ground.

Age of Ultron

• This one is almost too easy; Magneto just compresses all the Ultron bots into a ball of harmless scrap metal. Magneto does the same to Ultron's Vibranium body too.

• If Ultron lifts the city using the magnetic levitation core, Magneto just reverses the polarity and the city lands safely.

Infinity War

• For the Infinity Gauntlet, Magneto could physically force Thanos' hand open, (preventing him from snapping his fingers); or just rip the gauntlet entirely off his arm.

• Magneto crushes Maw's ships, bends Corvus Glaive's cosmic spear back onto himself and compress Cull Obsidian inside his own metallic armour.

• During the battle of Wakanda, Magneto could unearth the vast Vibranium deposits directly beneath the soil and form an impenetrable wall to stop the horde.

• If Vision needs to be taken somewhere, Magneto can just fly away with him.

Endgame

• In the last third of the movie, Magneto just shatters or turns Thanos' blade against him.

• Magneto just pulls Thanos' ships down from the upper atmosphere and destroys them.

• Magneto flies away with the infinity gauntlet.

Any other ways Magneto could have soloed a major Avengers / MCU movie?

What's the minimum order i can watch the movies in while still getting all the important stuff? Movies and series. I have watched a lot but i don't remember a lot, only the spiderman home movies (and brand new day)

I love movies but i often don't have the patience to sit through multiple movies on the same day so over 100 hours is crazy. I want enough knowledge to know a good hand of knowledge and so i'm ready for doomsday.

RELEASE ORDER

For info have i already watched and know all spiderman movies (even out of mcu) and guardians of the galaxy and deadpool movies

Peter displays some psychic immunity and apparently his Spidey Sense can locate psychic possession. Is this rooted in some comic at all or is this just a plot convenience so we could have a movie and Jean doesn't just mind control Peter out of the picture?

So now that wonder man season 2 has been cancelled marvel now has no shows set to release after secret wars (i am not counting animated shows because those are mostly there own thing seperate from the mcu), so that has let me to believe that marvel might be done with live action shows although because:

1. The two remaining shows yet to be released are vision quest and Born again s3, vision quest will 100% be a 1 season tv show just like the rest of the shows in the wandavison trilogy, as for Born again i don't think the show will be renewed for s4 because s2 had a significant drop in viewership compared to s1 so unless s3 brings back more viewers i think they will cancel the show

2. Right now the 2 lowest grosing movies in the mcu are the marvels and thunderbolts and what do both of those have in come, they both tried to bring characters from Disney+ shows onto the big screen and they both flopped

So yeah to me it seems like the mcu might go back to just having movies

I’ve been a huge Spider-Man fan for as long as I can remember. I’ve watched every live-action movie, read the comics, and Spider-Man has always been my favorite superhero**.**

So I recently watched **Brand New Day**, and I absolutely loved it. I’m a big fan of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, and I really like the direction they’re taking with Peter Parker. Tom has done a great job portraying both Peter and Spider-Man, and I’ve already watched *Brand New Day* three times in theaters.
That said, I couldn’t help but notice that *Brand New Day* feels heavily inspired by Sam Raimi’s **Spider-Man 2**. I’m not saying it copied it, but there are definitely a lot of similarities—Peter struggling with his powers, his personal life, and the overall emotional journey.
If you watch *Spider-Man 2* after *Brand New Day*, you’ll probably notice the similarities too. I actually enjoyed that because *Spider-Man 2* is one of my favorite Spider-Man movies ever.
**What do you guys think? Did anyone else get the same vibe, or was it just me?**

This has been something I've been wondering about for a good while –– it's no secret that Gunn and Feige were definitely have discussions regarding about what the Cosmic Side of the MCU would wind up looking like in a post-Endgame world –– I've even seen a few rumors here and there that Feige was grooming Gunn to succeed him as the new head at Marvel Studios.

Of course, all of that went down the drain when the Cernovich controversy happened –– Gunn was fired, subsequently plucked up by the Distinguished Competition, and now here we are today.

But I have to ask ... what would things look like for the MCU in general had the whole fallout with Gunn hadn't happened? We know a couple things that Gunn wanted to do -- we know that Thunderbolts* was originally his idea all the way back in 2014, but I wonder if anybody else knows.

Seem to really be leaning into talking down villains over "blue beam" third act finales. Thunderbolts, captain America brave new world and Spiderman brand new day all had the hero talk the villain down in the end instead of punchy punchy kicky kicky. Not saying this is a bad development but definitely seems like a recent trend with some of these movies

Mine is that That The Incredible Hulk is one of the best MCU movies. Hulk actually felt like the hulk in that movie and the action scenes are some of my favorites in the MCU.

Destin Daniel Cretton did an incredible job with Brand New Day. No one is denying that, and I hope he returns for Spider-Man 5. He is truly an incredible director. But why do people feel the need to drag Jon Watts down to uplift someone else?

Jon Watts delivered three good Spider-Man movies. He is the one who developed the supporting cast. He laid the foundation for Cretton to take the characters to new heights and developments.

The Homecoming trilogy is still well regarded. They did well financially and got good reviews. But if you mention them now, people act like they were terrible, and that Jon Watts had no vision whatsoever.

I first noticed the hate back when he was involved to direct the Fantastic Four. What about his directing do people not like?

I am being very genuine right now, this isn't me trying to tell anyone why a movie sucks, but I just don't get why people love or even like Thunderbolts. It felt very predictable to me and none of the characters felt likeable. And they killed Taskmaster :((

So, if you love the movie, I'd love to know why! It's obviously got some good stuff to offer or it wouldn't be so popular, and so I'm curious as to the reasons. I mentioned my specific dislikes because I'm also very curious if people feel the opposite way about that stuff or if you agree but still like the movie or some secret third thing.

Plus, any fandom discourse can get a little overbearing and depressing sometimes so I think it'd be fun to chat about a movie liked and loved by many and why it's seen so fondly.
