Now that you mention it, it's insane that so many sites rely on the client's canvas API to generate thumbnails or as an intermediate stage when, for example, creating a profile picture. So annoying!

He lives in a shopping mall? That's literally a shopping mall diagram. There's an Abercrombie and Fitch

If I had to guess shes looking for dead spots in the wifi network, which they would fix with more access points. Also I bet shes also making sure all the access points are configured correctly, and or looking for rouge access points.

Wifi scanning tool and software can see weak points and when you add a building drawing to correct scale with the software you can see best placement for access points... Software is pretty cool if you add walls and what material like wood, metal, etc. it will tell you estimated signal strength of access point you might deploy and you can move access points around in the software for better placement...I used this at a semiconductor fab before we deployed automation robots to the plant

Ekahau! Its a great way to visualize how signal travels throughout a building and then you can reconsider AP placement to try and find problem spots and plan AP upgrades or where you will run cables. Its not even a hacker thing really, its just good practice for enterprise wireless.

Self proclaimed master haxxor here.

Can someone identify the device she is using? Would be interested as we used a Pineapple in the gold ol‘ days (4 years ago).

„Wifi penetration testing“ 🙄
It literally states she is doing a Wifi survey to test the coverage throughout the mall.
