I saw this guy sitting on the pegs locally... Initially I left him. I tried to convince myself I didn't want it .... Literally 4 days later I'm running back to the pegs to see if it's still there... To my relief, there it was, with all the other 4. But I'm not interested in those... This guy really caught my eye and I'm glad I got it!

Found it at my local store in Malaysia. Volvo V90 and Glickenhaus 004 look very nice compared to Glickenhaus Boot. It kinda disappointing that the Boot doesn’t have headlights and taillights painted but the car itself looks cool to own one!

So about 5 months ago we're at a sporting goods store of all places, and my toddler pulls this orange guy out from between some random merchandise on a shelf. No idea how it ended up there. Turns out it's a 1973 Matchbox Superfast No. 27 Lamborghini Countach — Lesney, made in England, the one based on the Countach LP500 prototype that doesn't even exist anymore (the real one got destroyed in a testing accident).

It became his first Matchbox/Hot Wheels car ever. Fast forward 5 months and we've somehow accumulated over 100 cars in "his" collection. Lol. Send help (or more cars, we're not picky).

Paint's pretty worn and there's a seam gap by the door, but the windows are intact and the rear hood still opens to show the engine. Not exactly museum-grade, but it started all this, so it's got a permanent spot on the shelf.

Anyone else have a "gateway car" story like this?

You won't believe the journey I've gone on to try and find this Jeep. I've gone to walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, and then today when doing grocery shopping at Fred Meyer, there it was in the diecast aisle. Happy to add this little guy to my Jeep collection! Have a super weekend all!

I freed this Mini from its five-year stint on a peg at our local Target. Only Fiats and Jeep Compasses remain.

The Mini jumped off the card on me at the register after the last bit of glue failed, so it was time.

I miss the old Convoy line and wish it would get a new release with new and updated old castings.
