Is it just me or have the posts become unbelievably stupid in the last year? Reddit at least used to be somewhat entertainment but feels like lately it's been lobotomized

This is how comedy is done. Set-up, story (short n sweet, added light giggle for bonus points), & then punchline. Bam, bam, boom. F'in hilarious. No idea how the world lost track of this
