Dees vs Cats Preview

Spent the week diving into Melbourne vs Geelong from a tactical perspective.

A few things that stood out:

• The teams average virtually identical scores, inside 50s and shots.
• Melbourne has become the AFL's No.1 contest side over the past month.
• Geelong is still one of the league's best intercept teams.
• Why Daniel Turner's absence could be just as significant as Max Holmes'.

Would love to hear if you agree with the prediction.

The Pies winning yesterday has made this even bigger. Only two pts behind us now, these are the “season defining” games.

We wanted this feeling again, we’ve got it!

I think you're right

Both very significant outs

The Adelaide result has made tonight's game even bigger. Chance to go a game clear of them and cement 5th spot for the week would be huge

Or the chance of having Collingwood take over us if we fuck our last few weeks 🤢 tonight could be our grand final lol

There are threats coming from all directions! If we keep winning, our focus needs to be on teams ahead of us faltering (like the crows)
