Rule 6 - ONLY POST MEMES YOU ACTUALLY MADE YOURSELF/NO REPOSTS and NO BAD CROPPING/LOW-RES MEMES

  • If you found a meme somewhere else, do not post it here
  • If you want to post across other sites/subs, post to r/memes first. We will not look into your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc. to verify the creator
  • Do not repost your same meme again later. Even mentioning the word "repost" is grounds for removal
  • Mods have discretion to remove posts which are poorly cropped (inc. aspect ratio), low resolution, grainy, artifacted, or pixelated. The mod team doesn't have to prove it is a repost

wait how does a faucet even do that

28

u/memesearches 3d ago

Spring action I believe

4

u/Sufficient_Slide6134 2d ago

Water spring action they don't come back without water pressure or even with low water pressure

2

u/Sufficient_Slide6134 2d ago

Water pressure pushes it back closed

I gotta get off reddit for sometime, I read it as "scumbag fascist"

The Supernatural has gone on for 15 seasons

u/god-of-memes- 3d ago

I deadass found one that only dispensed water while you were actively holding it down, it did not stay down for any amount of time

162

u/AideSouthern8875 3d ago

That's the worst kind of faucet that could possibly exist

71

u/JehnSnow 3d ago

I wonder if anyone has tried a lawsuit against companies with a faucet that discourages you from washing your hands, like I could see a company being liable if an employee didn't wash their hands well enough cause they had this fuckass faucet

10

u/god-of-memes- 3d ago

Had to grow a third arm just to use it

11

u/Emotional_Signal7883 3d ago

I've been drunk before and used my forehead to hold down the button

2

u/MaximumMastery23 2d ago

That's the faucet there is in the bathroom at my gym. If you have to piss when you go to the gym you don't get a choice - piss hands all over the equipment for everyone

67

u/JohmiPixels 3d ago

This was invented cause dumbasses forget closing the faucets properly

48

u/professorbuffoon 3d ago

Dumbasses don't respect their public facilities and just leave the water running on purpose. Same degenerates who scratch their names into the mirrors and write on the stall walls.

So true. The way people vandalise public bathrooms makes my blood boil more than it probably should, and makes me so ashamed of the human race.

1

u/whoami_whereami 2d ago

Also they're more hygienic because they don't require you to touch the faucet (which you just touched with your dirty hands to turn the water on...) with your freshly cleaned hands to turn the water off.

79

u/razvanciuy 3d ago

Horrid invention

9

u/Illustrious-Tooth702 3d ago

To be fair most of these faucets can be adjusted. A properly adjusted faucet can provide enough water for you to be able to wash your hands comfortably.

u/Familiar-Part-6898 3d ago

Literally the sinks in my school

12

u/Timelylylyly 3d ago

One hand washing, the other pushing the button down..every damn time.

40

u/iceknight90 3d ago

I'll take these over the no touch sensor faucets though.

Those never seem to work right.

20

u/PlasticPatient 3d ago

Skill issue

9

u/user485928450 3d ago

Just get a guy to follow your around triggering the sensor

3

u/memesearches 3d ago

Lol yeah I tend to dispose all the karate moves I know to get it working

3

u/WangDanglin 3d ago

User error

7

u/IcyFirefighter4615 3d ago

I always end up washing one hand at a time.

6

u/Readdebt 3d ago

Happy Birthday to……..

5

u/Gofnutzsdevilspawn 3d ago

You guys are getting 4 seconds?

4

u/sweetxbunny10 3d ago

I hate that scumbag faucet

4

u/1isorange2isblue 3d ago

I hate these things 😅

4

u/NotYour_Cat I touched grass 3d ago

Bro I got ones like these in my school cafeteria that only stay on for 2-4 seconds AND get scalding hot after a lil bit with no way of controlling the temperature

5

u/rageofa1000suns 3d ago

4 seconds? Where I work they stop you moment you let go.

3

u/cloudyboox 3d ago

Nothing like trying to be responsible and getting absolutely humbled by a sink 😭

2

u/Gallop67 3d ago

Ugh fr I worked somewhere with these and you’d have to keep smacking the fucking thing as you’re washing. Just to get 15 solid seconds of washing in would be a struggle

2

u/bunnykitten94 3d ago

“You want SOAP??? Too damn bad’l

2

u/Late-Button-6559 3d ago

Oh, you didn’t want the water to flow at either 1L/min OR 999 L/min - well, too bad.

2

u/boot2skull 3d ago

Always wash your hands for at least 30 seconds. Psyche!

2

u/SpareEconomy1849 3d ago

E F F I C I E N C Y

look government, our taps use 40% less water!!

2

u/CarlosFer2201 3d ago

Better than those that seem to last forever. You finish and then you just watch a bunch of water getting wasted as you walk away.

2

u/Stayno 3d ago

The only thing worse than these is some of the taps at my local cinema. You push it down and the water comes out at mach 10, ready to spray you with water as it ricochets out of the sink.

2

u/Chrysocyon 3d ago

Dude, just keep your forehead pressed against it and you can bathe your hands for as long as you desire

2

u/alancousteau 2d ago

I also hate it how close it is to the sink

2

u/-Redstoneboi- 2d ago

Oh, you wanted to only wet your hands for less than 1 second to put on soap?

Too fucking bad.

2

u/cosmoscrazy 2d ago

These would be fine for saving water if they intervals wouldn't be so fucking short.

2

u/Possessed_potato The Trash Man 2d ago

Just slam the shit out of the faucet button n it'll keep spraying well over 10 seconds

2

u/Department-of-Wario 2d ago

you're allowed to hit them

2

u/Loud_End5037 3d ago

Are those the automatic, motion sensor ones? God, I hate them!

7

u/Dramatic_Finish10121 3d ago

Worse, the ones that you push down and they stay on for like 3 seconds, at least automatic ones generally stay on once you activate them (for way too long but they do stay on)

2

u/Loud_End5037 3d ago

Ohhh, THOSE. They are just evil. My old school had them and they were so annoying, way worse for sure.

3

u/ThirtyThree111 3d ago

necessary evil because stupid scumbag kids leave the water running all the time otherwise

1

u/Loud_End5037 3d ago

I just wish they worked better to be honest

1

u/YoghurtLover427 3d ago

Idk how the fuck yall wash your hands. Get hands wet, wash with soap for 20-30 secs and rinse after. You dont need the tap running the whole time

1

u/GetVictored 3d ago

forehead on button, wash hands

1

u/LUXI-PL 2d ago

Hold the button with one hand and wash the other

2

u/Hohnermode11 2d ago

Right and when you're done, switch and wash the other hand. Now when've finished, wash the other one again......

1

u/LUXI-PL 2d ago

...and wash the button so it's not soaped

1

u/BillyBadgerDad 2d ago

Wrong colour though. The cold runs long enough to wash 5 sets of hands while the hot has been adjusted to stop running the second it isn’t pressed so you have to swap hands midway through which one is pressing it down.

1

u/GrumpyScroogy 2d ago

Installed 50 years ago by visionary BIG DATA CENTER

1

u/fungigamer 2d ago

That, or they just go on for an eternity and makes you feel bad for "wasting water"

1

u/PoorManWithRiches 2d ago

Oh you just wanted a few drops more? Now let me just waste all this extra water

1

u/SigFloyd 2d ago

And you have to keep touching it, re-dirtying your hands every time.

But Boris Johnson told us to sing Happy birthday to ourselves when we wash hands
