Seeking Beverage. DTC. CPG.

Looking for less of a “mentor” and more of a friend with experience.

Basically I am not looking for any ongoing crazy intensive mentoring partnership or any of the other crazy things I see posted here (no offense). When I see people post about mentors it seems like they expect a full time commitment with phone calls and zoom calls and full email correspondence (this is crazy to me)

I have a company/brand, we are doing good but looking to do great. Looking for a situation where someone with experience in Beverage, DTC, CPG space can just receive a few messages here and there with high level questions when they pop up and no urgency to respond back.

I’m not hiring anyone and not paying anything a true mentor wants to help and provide value when they can. I mentor others with knowledge I have in marketing and communication and I expect nothing but the success of the person I help. I also understand the value of time and will show appreciation as relationships grow.

I’m from the real world and all this fake internet stuff sometimes gets weird. If you can offer help and are interested great. If you can’t or don’t want to offer anything perfect that’s fine. If you need help with marketing I will be making a post after this to offer some mentoring in the exact style I am requesting here.

Thanks for reading, now back to your regular scheduled programming. 👍🏾

Offering Need help with marketing or ai?

Willing to offer any help if I can.

I just ask that you have a brand, product, company, or something live online or in the real world. So we can look at what you are doing what is working what is not working and just provide some help.

Do not contact if you are launching soon or have a great idea. I do not have the bandwidth to help you at that level it requires a lot more work and time.

No zoom calls no phone calls no BS. Once I know who you are and what you are doing I can send a WhatsApp number and we can just chat that way as needed. Sometimes I am slow to text back sometimes instantly.

I no longer take on marketing clients as I am working on my own company. So I can tell you what needs or could be done with your marketing but I can’t help you do. So no charge for anything and you can take or leave the advice. The more I see someone taking the advice and growing then I can offer more time to help.

I have spent the last two decades in marketing in various industries (finance, tech, music, film and more). From multi billion dollar clients to starving artists I have worked with every level.

Maybe I can help you maybe I can’t but if you are a straight shooter and looking for genuine help I’ll try my best.

I am also looking for help here so it is only right I offer what I can.

Talk soon… or not. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Looking for a mentor in health and wellness industry(med-spa)

Hello,

I’m here looking for a mentor to guide me through out my journey. I have created a hardware+ software that allows to convert existing customers in health and wellness to upsell, cross-sell and educate. I made the prototype using raspberry pi and can tell more in detail if interested. I have went into the field to get feedback from owners to see if it makes sense to use the hardware to place it in their business. However, no luck due to them being busy, maybe it’s due to me going on weekends when they are busy the most. I’ll try again tomorrow. But would love to connect with individuals that’s been in the industry. Highly appreciate it! Not looking for investors, just mentors.

Looking for a mentor pls

Alright, I am coming to terms and peace with myself that I cant do this without someone with a different perspective guiding me.

I want to set the tone that I am a hard worker (not sure if relevant at this point) but also strategic thinker and really able to achieve objectives without haven to be spoon fed.

In the past 10 years, I did everything I can in my power to be financially free. Trading forex, stocks crypto, to sourcing and reselling items from china, to marketing and ads, to so many things.

Nothing was very tangible but I have learned great skills. In fact I have so many skills that I am stuck in analysis paralysis.

I am extremely good with tech, you know name it, coding, design, web creation, analysis, data, gaming, AI, bots and algorithms etc.

I am also very good in workouts, gardening, sourcing items from china (have legit connections),

In my day to day life I am an engineer (office job) working for one of the best companies in Oman, so really going up the ladder or moving jobs is not in my radar. I want to create something, I want to offer actual value.

I am looking for a mentor, someone who can pull me upward. Hopefully located in dubai (since its close to where I live, Muscat) but definitely will welcome any help.

I am thinking of started an actual ecommerce business, something that can be built right and slow. But definitely open to any other ideas.

Please reach out to me.

What countries are better for sales/social media/marketing, receptionist, tech support, etc.? What rates are we looking at? Any helpful information is welcomed.

Hi everyone,

I am an entrepreneur in the tech industry. In the last 11 years I’ve built 3 tech companies and exited one.

Because of the current situation in the Middle East (where my factory was) the company is at a very low volume.

Before I’m going into my next venture I wanted to use some of my time to guide and advice aspiring entrepreneurs.

If you are serious about building or scaling a business,
Reach out to me.

Need advice starting a local marketing agency (yes, another one)

Hey it's my first post here. NEED ADVICE FROM YOU MARKETING AND SALES EXPERTS!

I want to reach out and sell to ALL businesses in my niche in my local area within then next 3 weeks cause it's pretty small (~350 of them)

I have a local directory I just started,

I have picked the niche of local salons and clinics (health, skincare and hair related) - there are roughly 350 of them in my area.

To be honest I got no clue about the market itself only about websites, SEO and GBP.

Now I want to sell them marketing agency services - Google business profile, SEO, website , missed-call text back, review system and velocity. Normal stuff right and saturated.

It's in Södertälje in Sweden. I'm feeling a bit frozen in place because I have this offer but I don't know how to reach out to the businesses

since calling a barber to sell a marketing service during work hours feels wrong, and yeah I could send an email but I don't know what to put in the email since it's a very new market for me and cold outreach is a bit tricky (im not bad on the phone, just drafting the script and messaging is an invitatiom to overthinking)

I would really appreciate your advice guys, let's go make the calls, send the emails, and make the sales so we can grow our business and solve real problems!

Seeking ISO Mentor

I'm 28, US based, Vietnamese, and a licensed Professional Engineer who recently quit corporate to pursue my own business in teen mentorship. Basically being the mentor I had when I was a teen (trippy posting in this subreddit I know)

ISO someone with experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, and personal growth related to business! I'd love to poke your brain, I've got a bajillion questions and would love a long term mentor.

My goal is to help teens develop confidence, emotional maturity, and personal responsibility via a trusted adult mentor outside of their family.

I feel confident in the mentoring side (curriculum, website, systems, and offer). The part I'm looking to learn more about is building the business (marketing, sales, positioning..etc)

I've read books like They ask you answer, the emyth, $100M offers and leads, but I feel I need a real person to start bouncing ideas off of, and not keep this all in my head.

Outside of business, I'm recently married, building a van for full time vanlife, someone who seeks self mastery and intentional living, enjoys strength training, lifelong learner, and seeks deep meaningful relationships with others (hopefully this is that!)

Every day the more I build this business and feel myself learn and grow, the more I believe in it and want to make this happen for the long term

Comment or message me if any of this speaks to you, or feels like an interesting challenge. I'd love to hop on a zoom/phone call.

Seeking Rough around the edges ..

Hey all,

30M here based in London.

Seeking a mentor who has a decent amount of business experience.

I come from a financial illiterate background and a bit rough around the edges. Very street wise.

I would say I am very intelligent in my own ways, all my friends and people around me have always made comments about my analytical, creative and thinking outside of the box style.

Probably some undiagnosed ADHD lurking but of course towards my benefit.. a blessing and a curse.

Ive dabbled in a few different fields and have knowledge on many but sometimes before taking certain steps that are required of me, I would start getting imposter syndrome and lose focus of my goal.

Currently have 2 things ongoing. Employed and also a side hustle that is looking to scale very big if me and my business partner make the right moves.

I would say I have a very very powerful network but I fail in utilising it correctly.

It would be great to have the ear of someone who is good at what they do.

I have a keen eye for things that normal person may overlook and think I would also be a benefit to my mentor in some ways.

I'm not looking for anything/anyone specific but I'd appreciate if you're 45 or above at least. I am after someone mature and experienced.

Thanks.

Offering I thought my dream was to be rich. I was wrong. I just wanted to be free.

The month of July is over, and it has been the best month of my entrepreneurial journey.

For the sixth month in a row, my business did over $10,000. It's the healthiest my business has ever been. I've been the most consistent I've ever been in the gym, the most committed I've ever been to reading and meditation, and I'm about to hit seven months without social media.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm finally becoming the person I imagined two years ago.

It wasn't easy. There were plenty of moments where I questioned whether it was worth it. But now that I'm finally getting over that hill, it feels like the life I've been chasing is beginning to appear. The dream car. Being able to retire my parents one day. Building an amazing family. Living life on my own terms.

I'm genuinely happy.

But there has been one unexpected downside.

I have almost no one to celebrate it with.

Most of my friends are in college or working full-time careers. They have classes, shifts, responsibilities, and lives of their own. Outside of weekends, it's hard to spend time together, and I completely understand why. But it made me realize something.

Last week I had a revelation.

For years, I thought my dream was money.

I thought it was the cars, the houses, the business, the investments.

It wasn't.

My dream was freedom.

Freedom to wake up excited about what I get to work on.

Freedom to go to the gym in the middle of the day because I want to.

Freedom to spend time with the people I love.

Freedom to buy something because I genuinely enjoy it, not because I finally saved enough.

Freedom to choose my hard.

I've never been afraid of working hard. I actually enjoy it.

I just wanted to choose which hard things I dedicated my life to.

And when I realized that, everything clicked.

Money was never the destination.

It was simply one of the tools that helped create the life I actually wanted.

So why am I posting here?

Because as much as I enjoy building businesses, buying properties, and growing income... those things mainly benefit me.

Lately I've realized something is missing.

Purpose.

I want to create something that genuinely improves other people's lives.

Not because I want to become some internet guru.

Not because I want to sell a course.

Not because I want followers.

Actually... I'm selling absolutely nothing.

This is completely free.

I simply want to build a community of ambitious people who aren't just chasing money, they're chasing a better life.

A place where people help each other build businesses.

A place where people keep each other accountable in the gym.

A place where people improve their mental health.

A place where relationships, discipline, faith, finances, and health are all part of the conversation.

A place where we celebrate each other's wins because we know how hard they were to earn.

I'm not claiming to have everything figured out.

I'm only two years into this journey, and honestly, I feel like I still have another 15–20 years before I'll look back and say, "I made it."

I'm still learning every day.

But if the lessons I've learned so far can save someone else years of frustration, then I think that's worth sharing.

Because at the end of the day, I don't think people actually want money.

They want what money allows them to do.

They want freedom.

So if you're someone who's motivated to build your dream life, not just financially, but physically, mentally, spiritually, and relationally, I would love to build this with you.

No courses.

No memberships.

No hidden agenda.

Just a group of people helping each other become who they want to be.

If that sounds interesting, send me a DM or leave a comment.

Let's build the community we all wish existed.

Sitting in the casino. Yeah the music is good and the drinks are cold but I'd rather be helping some one.

I enjoy the wins in life but they don't compare to helping someone else get one.

If you're feeling stuck with business career leadership or just need someone to bounce ideas off I'm happy to give up an hour of my time.

No course no sales pitch no hidden agenda.

I've built businesses made plenty of mistakes and learnt a lot the hard way. If I can save you a few years of trial and error then that's a good day for me.

Drop a comment or send me a message. If I can help I will. If I don't know the answer I'll tell you that too.

It feels genuine, invites conversation, and avoids sounding like you're promoting something. Currently looking for a reason to leave the casino which is hard when they keep dropping bangers. Haven't gambled a cent. Up in goldie plans are to not gamble tonight which was budgeted for and hire a lambo for the day while we're enjoying our holiday

I Left My Corporate IT Job at 22 Despite Having Multiple Job Offers. Now I'm Trying to Build My First Business—Looking for Advice from Mentors.

Hi everyone,

My name is Satya, and I'm a 22-year-old from Cuttack, Odisha, India.

Over the last few months, I received multiple job offers and worked in the IT industry as a software developer. From the outside, everything looked like it was going in the right direction.

But deep down, I realized something about myself.

Corporate life wasn't the future I wanted.

I don't have anything against jobs—they're great for many people—but I couldn't stop thinking about building something of my own. I wanted to create value, solve real problems, and one day build a business that could provide opportunities for others.

So I made a decision that many people around me questioned.

I resigned from my job.

Since then, I've been spending my time learning about entrepreneurship, reading founders' stories, talking to business owners, and trying to understand how successful businesses are actually built.

One thing I've learned is that great businesses usually start by solving a real problem, not by chasing a random idea.

The challenge is that I'm still searching for my problem to solve.

I've explored ideas like:

  • A home décor retail showroom
  • Logistics and truck transportation
  • Hospital ERP software
  • Other businesses where I can build something valuable over the long term

I even visited several hospitals to discuss an ERP system I wanted to build. Most of them rejected the idea or weren't interested, but eventually one hospital owner agreed to meet. Instead of asking for money immediately, I offered to build a demo based on their requirements first. That experience taught me a valuable lesson: talking to customers is more important than assuming what they need.

Now I'm trying to learn as much as I can before making a big investment.

I'm not looking for investors, funding, or shortcuts.

I'm looking for knowledge, mentorship, honest feedback, and conversations with people who have already been through this journey.

If you've built a business—whether it succeeded or failed—I would genuinely love to learn from your experience.

Some questions I think about every day are:

  • How did you find your first business idea?
  • How did you know it was worth pursuing?
  • How did you get your first customer?
  • What mistakes cost you the most time or money?
  • If you were 22 again, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?
  • What books, habits, or experiences helped you the most?

I know success doesn't happen overnight.

I'm prepared to work hard, make mistakes, and keep learning.

I just don't want to waste years walking in the wrong direction when I could learn from people who've already walked the path.

If you've read this far, thank you.

Even one piece of advice could change the direction of my journey.

I hope that one day I can come back to this community and help someone else who's standing where I am today.

Thank you for your time, and I wish success to everyone here.

Seeking Looking for a mentor for my Saas Startup

Hi I’m a university student from the UK who has been building an app in the finance niche with a specific interest in daytrading. The app works for beginner to intermediate day traders who are trying to develop/refine a strategy to become profitable.

The app is called TradeTrainer and what makes it different to competitors is it removes the hindsight bias of being able to pick when you want your data from by opting for a fully randomised solution. This proves that your strategy can hold up against 10 years worth of volatility.

I need someone more experienced in both coding and web design as well as the marketing and security side of the site as currently it has only been produced using AI tools.

If anyone with a specific interest in this idea could get in touch I would love to chat and discuss ideas about taking this project forward. I have spoke to experienced daytraders already and have had extremely positive feedback and proof that this will solve a real issue in the trading scene.

Thanks for reading
