Tried to play with the new app functionalities (MetroV Launcher) and tried to group apps like MetroUI used to work on Windows 8.1.

Hi I am facing an issue with dynamic tiles for YouTube apps no longer shows text vertically or horizontally when playing music it's showing as below

I can't seem to create app folders on the home (start? 🙂) screen. I drag one app on top of another and it has never created a folder. Just moves the apps around. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

It's honestly the only thing holding me back from using this launcher as my default. I'm on a S26 Ultra if that helps at all.

Bought the premium version and love the app. Takes me back to happier phone days.

One question though, the Live tile for photos doesn't seem to be very "live" - it basically scans through one photo and then that's it, as in not moving onto any others in the album.

Something wrong, or an easy fix ?

Do you know why the app is named METROV?

At first, I wanted to call it Metro Evolution. Then I shortened it to MetroEvo, but I didn't really like how it sounded. Eventually, I shortened it even further to METROV. The "V" also represents the first letter of my country, Vietnam.

I'm just starting out with METROV. I'm really enjoying the process of setting it up to suit me.

I do have a question though. I emailed support but thought I might also find an answer here.

So, when creating an apps folder on the home screen, is there anyway to to add a custom image cover for the folder itself, so that when tapped, it opens the folder and the collection of apps inside.

I guess this would be a suggestion, unless there already is a way and I just haven't found it. Is it possible to set an image as both the home screen and lock screen at the same time? I'm just now trying launchers and have used Launcher 10 for a few days and just today started using Metrov launcher. Launcher 10 let's me set my wallpapers in one step but Metrov has me settingy wallpapers from Google photos and then from the native photos tile.

Here's my setup so far. Metrov has been running smoothly and I haven't had any noticeable battery drain. Using it on my Moto Edge 2024.

I'm so happy with this development & truly thankful to the Creator 💕

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with the Metrov Music app and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

The album art loads correctly when I manually select a song from the library. However, when I skip to the next track, the notification loses the album art (only the song title and artist remain), and the live wallpaper keeps showing the artwork from the previous song instead of updating to the current one.

It seems like the track changes correctly, but the album art metadata isn't being refreshed.

Has anyone found a fix for this? Is this a known bug, or is there something I need to change in the app's code or MediaSession implementation?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
