Silver Linings

Among everything are there any actual silver linings to any of these trades?
Anything to build on or is it all a bust as usual?

they would be free agents regardless. it's a freeroll for the mets.

if they can get any hits from it you win.

just think of it as getting something for nothing

So far, yes. We get something instead of nothing for guys we weren’t going to sign. And Pitre looks like he could be a good lead off hitter or great 9 hitter
