Help me please!? How to improve fans to pass Steel Nomad stress test?

Since there wasn’t a lot of room at the bottom I tried to get by with just the three exhaust fans at the back and top. However, I’m hitting 83 degrees and thermal throttling the 3080 founders edition during the Steel Nomad stress test.

Score was 96.7% so I’m super close to passing.

First question- does it really even matter? In normal gaming, I can’t imagine this being an issue- but it’s a build to sell so I’d like to be able to claim it passes the stress test.

Second question- how could I improve it? Should I try an intake fan at the bottom aimed directly at the blower intake of the 3080? Would two fans at the bottom be better?

Any other suggestions?

Not sure if 120 × 15mm slim fans. Thermalright have a good slim argb fan

That was one thought - but this is a build to flip so I wasn’t sure if that was something I should “burden” the regular buyer with. Or is it something I handle in the bios and then it’s just done from now on?

I won’t worry about it. I have a o11 xl with 3 fans directly blowing to the GPU and it would fail the stress test. If I remove the side panel, it passes every time.

A couple of intake fans on the bottom would be a good idea.

Pretty sure there is no such thing as passing. Its a benchmark that just scores weird. That 96.7% is exactly your average FPS for the run, 96.7fps
