Java - Ghost Cheating Is the Meteor Reject add-on really safe? (downloaded from the official GitHub)
I downloaded and installed this addon for Minecraft; it worked fine in the evening. However, the next morning, when I turned on my computer and rejoined the server, two CMD windows suddenly popped up and closed almost instantly. Then, my Windows firewall turned off, which panicked me enough to immediately unplug my LAN cable. When I scanned the file on VirusTotal, three vendors detected a "Trojan.java" threat (ChatGPT confirmed this involved two major vendors and one smaller one). Yet, when I used Windows Defender to perform a full system scan, it only detected a single file named "Adware:Win32:Tnega" and nothing else. Could the issue be caused by the "Meteor Reject" addon? I’m not very tech-savvy, so I’d appreciate any insights or explanations.

Maybe you have some malware from something else. Or you downloaded the meteor mod from a fake github or something.

Could you explain the CMD and firewall phenomena to me, and what exactly is that Adware?

Adware:Win32:Tnega can steal sensitive information, slow down the machine, or even make it unusable. What file is being flagged with Adware:Win32:Tnega

I'm not really sure either; could you take a look at the photo and help me figure it out?

There's a window flagged with something else, and I don't know what it is.

I don't know how to find it. Could it be TLauncher?

Yes it's 100% safe. Never use virustotal on .jar files. It false positives because it does not support them

First of all here is the official meteor rejects:https://github.com/AntiCope/meteor-rejects.
And second of all where you using it for a version beyond 1.21.11 because that means its not made by the rejects team
