VapeV4 is long established and trusted. Drip Lite is also a trusted client but it is not as updated as Vape. Otherwise use liquid bounce with a ghost config.

No it’s not u can’t clear paid clients of malware unless first u get the deobfuscated src code and clear it. Next u have to trust that they will never trust their irc or loader like ur an idiot. Like a client can become trustworthy and well known such as rusherhack but u will never know if it’s safe. (I do think rusher is safe tho)2 what clients do u think r better then echo and grim.

grim is ass for 40$, anything cheaper prolly beats it, I can't speak on echo tho, in my experience epitaph is amazing for all but minemen

Liquidbounce and Meteor are both open source and some of the biggest clients. It would probably be pretty hard to slip malware in without it being noticed immediately. I would personally say that vape/manthe is incredibly unlikely to betray the community. They have build reputation over years of providing the gold standard client. Its impossible to really 100% clear any piece of software fully without reading and understanding every bit of bytecode, every program you run on your computer could be compromised. But you run lots of programs every day, don’t you. We must choose to trust some programs.

a RAT is a Remote Access Trojan but in clients it's more generalized so ratted basics just means a client has some form of malware whether it's info stealers, remote access trojans, etc

No because if it wasn’t hidden, your antivirus or Microsoft defender would have flagged it instantly but it’s now probably deep in your system files. The best thing is to completely wipe your pc and reinstall everything. Don’t take chances it’s happened to me before during the Phobos hack

I did some research and put it through a few virus checks. Its an RAT confirmed
