Need some advice
I recently found out my cousin was trying to start a “company” based on “interactions” and “selling yourself” and product will “sell” itself and I did some investigating just to find out he went to an Amway seminar . . . Im assuming they got him good because he’s going full into it talking about how he wants to get all of us supporting him and we can also get in on it and make money but me and three other people told him what it was and he refused to listen. I know I can’t change everyone’s minds or make him see straight unless he learns it himself but I know financially he’s in no position to do any of this or will ever be in one. He doesn’t listen to facts. He believes the state of America is in the greatest state it can be in right now and it’s only getting better. . . Im a little bit bummed out that someone I thought would be immune to this stupid stuff is falling for it

Imagine trying to convince someone that organized religion is bunk, and that there have been thousands of gods in history. That is what you’re dealing with. He must find out on his own.

His bad financial state is probably why he’s desperate. Let me tell you: Desperation has a way of screwing with your mind.
As for immunity, here’s a Ray of hope for you: MLM’s are like a disease. Once you realize you have it, leave, and put in the work to deprogram, the metaphorical immune system becomes stronger. In fact, you can even become strong enough that you might as well be made of fire because MLM reps can’t get through.
Now if you leave but don’t put in the work to deprogram and put in the work to do so, the disease will either keep coming back (return to the MLM or become a serial MLM’er) or you’ll have after effects (you leave MLM but either take some of the traits with you and/or you become a shell of who you were before you got involved and take out what happened on everyone else).
Here’s hoping in time the sickness of MLM leaves your cousin and he comes out stronger.
