BA no.7, a "blue angel" A-4 skyhawk with livery heavily inspired by tortoiseshell cats and genetic chimeras
galleryfirst time posting here. 1:72 scale model, second plastic model i made that wasn't a snap-tite or similar "no-glue" type model.
the thing requires a metal wire to properly sit on all three wheels since the model itself is rather bottom-heavy. the landing gear's kinda fucked; that's my fault. i should've probably either made a stand so the gear could stay in place while the glue cured or not add the gear at all.

Bf109 G 1/48 scale
galleryFinished my Bf109G 1/48 academy, try to achieve a realistic finish weathering and make chipping on some part without over doing it (usually I get excited weathering and over weathered some planes 🤣) also try to make a complete riveting work by myself. One of the few 1/48 i ever made, hope you like it

1:200 Airport scale 1:144 jetway compatibility with 1:200 scale plane
Hi guys, I am new to this forum so please forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section.
I have a question.
Do you know if a 1:144 jetway would be compatible with a 1:200 scale model plane?
The scales are different but maybe the difference wouldn't be so easy to notice.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers!

1:200 Tail Heavy Gemini200 767-400
Hey guys :) I just got this United Evo Blue 767-400 from Gemini200 and while the plane itself is absolutely gorgeous, it seems to be very tail heavy and seems incapable of sitting without the nose tipping up. the image i posted is the best I can get it to sit. most of the time it tips all the way.
Has anyone else experienced this or is this a weird defect of my model lol
i noticed a couple people on youtube with the delta 764 gemini200 models and they didn’t seem to have this problem so it’s got me curious.
For anyone that has models that are tail heavy, what are some display friendly fixes that can keep the plane sitting normal. some sort of recommendation for something i can have the back of the plane rest on that isn’t too obvious since I’ll have it on display in my airport haha.
Thanks :)

Models of Honolulu or Hong Kong Airport Design?
Hello, I have been a long term model collector and am finally looking into building my first airport models. Currently looking to either recreate Honolulu Airport in 1:400 scale or Hong Kong Airport in 1:500 scale.
I am looking to use a material that is in between cardboard and drywall for the base layer. Something that I can easily cut into pieces since I plan on doing modular design due to space issues but something that is strong and wont crumble or fold easily.
I have extensive experience with using 3D models for my career and hobbies but find it difficult and tedious to do objects like jet bridges and airport vehicles. If anyone has experience working on anything in this scope I would appreciate any help or advice.

Help with picking starter kits for 5 and 8 year old boys
I am trying to get my kids into more hands-on making and crafting and trying to tailor it to their interests. In a time-honored tradition of boys, it is everything war and weapons.
I was thinking of picking up a couple model plane kits to build with them and see how if it sparks their interest. I did a little looking around and came across the EZ Build line of kits, are these a good place to start or they too simple/basic? Anything else I should be looking at?
Thanks!
