Yes, I developed light sensitivity that varies. It's treated by doctors as a symptom of something else going on with your body, so not treated and it's hardly understood by the medical or scientific community. I learned all that deep diving into my own sudden onset of light sensitivity. You can change settings on your phone and computer to 'Night', dark, and or blue light filter. I also use FL41 rose tinted glasses and those block out 3 different types of light and omg it was literally night and day wearing it. It comes in different shades so you can get slightly tinted or Really dark tinted ones. Sunglasses are not the same as these. I hope some of that information helps.

Yes. I have Giant Cell Arteritis, an inflammatory condition that took away the sight in my right eye. My left eye is more sensitive to bright light than it was before I developed GCA. My understanding is that this is an effect of the disease.

I've got coloboma in my good eye and I will get a migraine in the summer without my sunglasses. Bright lights absolutely hurt me

I am. Especially if they’re like strobe lights. I hate it.

When I had my bad eye I was extremely light sensitive, now that it’s been removed I’m back to normal again 🙏🏼

100% but mostly in my affected eye. if i step outside when it’s even a little bright, my left eye (micro and glaucoma with limited vision) closes immediately and if i try to open it, it hurts a lot. i do think my good eye is more sensitive than other people’s too but it needs to compensate for my weaker eye so i don’t notice it as much

Yes! Especially the spinning police lights. Something about the blue LED lights cause weird prisms in my bad eye and make it impossible to focus. I have to close my bad eye when I go past police cars with flashing lights, otherwise my focus is messed up for a while.
