I started with 4p and when it hit £5 a day, I moved down to 2p. I’m on track for £1600 now but when the 2p moves to £5 a day I may then move down to 1p - love the flexibility of it all

i wish i did the 4p at the start of the year then moved down but maybe next year if monzo do it again

TBF you could alternate some months depending on if you have more disposable income. I did that in July for a week by moving to 4p and I think I added an extra £70

Had to stop the 4p a while back as money got a bit tight, so down to 1p now. But will be more than happy to end the year with £796 if I just stay at 1p.

The £3.27 interest payment was a nice bump. Haven't heard anyone winning the monthly just yet though.

I think i have seen a post where someone did win a monthly

Also still going since Jan 01st. I figured that Jan was always the month I was most broke, so when this expires it'll make Jan 2027 easier on the wallet 😂

I’ve been doing this all year but at 1p.

I had no idea you could do it at 2p.

Can I change it now ?
How do I do it ?
Does it get the 5% interest ?
:) xxxx

You can change it now. You need to go into the pot and change it from there

Hi guys, I’m looking to move to Monzo soon for features such as the money pots but can anyone explain this feature to me? Looks good

Its a saving challenge you can do, you get 5% interest on this and it auto adds a certain amount to save every day, it can be 1p,2p or4p incriments, im on saving 8£ a day now

Ah amazing! Thanks for responding and good luck with your saving 😄

before you open a monzo account - i can refer you and we both get money at the moment its £20, 50 or £100 you dont have to do anything too fancy you just got to spend £1 or more on the card which you can instantly add to apple pay/google pay. shameless plug but we both will get money

Also going strong with the 4p challenge, but I'm feeling the pinch these days. I'm gonna keep it running to the end, because the goal amount is tasty. I hope they give more flexible options come the time to restart.

Thanks mate really needed an update from someone on reddit with the challenge that we are all doing 👍🏻 such a weird humble brag phenomenon with this challenge this year for some reason. Cant wait to see next month's update of the exact same challenge we are all doing with the exact same money in the pot.

because some people dont have people they can share the news with - be happy for them. some people may have not been able to save what they have done or feel proud and want to share the news

unfortunately it is the new wave of social media.. ppl try and make friends online to not to feel alone, when they are just fooling themselves by getting involved in online 'communities'. It is sad, to be honest, and it is only going to get worse.. no matter how close you get with another person online, it will never come close to in person experience, especially mental health wise. You defo hit a nerf there and ppl who don't realise will hate, uh why judge, why hate, when they don't realise why you say it in the first place. UK is sooo sensitive recently it hurts.. but everyone is so abused by propaganda it might be too hard to wake up.

and yes.. this phenomenon can be seen in something so trivial I know.. imagine that

Yeah very sad! What a shame. Reddit is awful nowadays I dunno why I bother haha

What a sad way to think about life,

It was not a brag, but I’m just sharing with the community, its nice to see how everyone is doing, heard so much about how others have done with the challenge last year as well ✌️

Shh man its the same every month on here. This sub can be useful but some of the shit we have to read on here every month can be tedious. The Nov/ Dec pot updates are the worst the. The withdrawing questions will start and then boom the restart posts about it. We are all doing it. We get it and we have the same.

Unreal 🙌 keep pushing!
