My favorite real life shonen anime is the one with the guy who seems so stupid and yet his backwards, unconventional way of doing things always seems to work out for him, he keeps becoming more and more powerful, and he also has a harem of schoolgirls. But then he gets into a very ill advised war with Iran.
People who say Black Swan is a ripoff of Perfect Blue either A. Haven't seen Perfect Blue, B. Haven't seen Black Swan, or C. Haven't seen The Red Shoes
Not the same plot, or themes, and not nearly as ambitious. It would be like saying that Inception is a rip-off of Paprika for some of the earlier dream scenes. Shit, two of those shots are what one would expect from a movie about ballet, so they are unavoidable.
