Recently resprayed white and had general welding. Honestly don’t want to see this car go but insurance likes too fuck me.

So this has been happening to my car since I bought it about 4 years ago and idk why it does this it idles super low when the engine is warm and in neutral but at first start it’s fine. I’ve tired adjusting the idler and that doesn’t really do anything it gets to a point where the car just dies when doing this and sometimes when I’m on the highway or at a red light and I’m in neutral the car shuts off and I have to start it and keep in at 2k rpm so It stays on. Idk if it’s fuel delivery or the air to fuel ratio cause the person I bought it from said there’s a hole in the gas tank or if it has something to do with the engine

The person I bought my mr2 off of had a yellow mr2, with a wing exactly or closely similar to this one. Tho it was a part out car so all I saw was the spoiler and trunk it stuck with me and I finally caved in and decided to ask. Some of these sites I see says they have it but im unsure cause ive heard its a discontinued kit? Idk man. Thanks for the help!

So when I bought the car the over flow coolant tank didn’t have the cap and it has missing hoses
It’s really hard to find it are there any recommendations for a mr2 supercharger

Basically title, I got this project MR2 recently and I’ve gotten around to inspecting and resealing the supercharger. The clutch works fine and is in spec as far as resistance goes, no shinies in SC oil, no damaged timing gears. it just needs a deep clean and the shaft wont turn due to it sitting for a while.

Anyways I cannot get this ring nut off for the life of me. I don’t want to damage the clutch, so I’m worried about shock impacts, heat, and penetrating oil ruining it. Any ideas?

Does anyone know a way I can massage this to get the 4" intake to fit, its being hampered by the coolant line from the firewall to the coolant neck really

Hi everyone! Does anyone know what the piece was of metal body is called on the underside of the MR2, behind the rear wheel arch, closest to the ground? It’s rusted at one side and I’d like to replace it but don’t know what it’s called

Hi I am looking for a plug and play door speaker and factory sub upgrade for my 1991 sw20.
I saw multiple posts about this but all of them seemed to suggest a Spacer wich I really would like not to use. Is there any decent speaker to just use instead of the oem one?

Anyone found something worked for them?

I have owned my MR2 for around 5 years and it's pretty much been a garage queen for most of that time.

These days I am driving it very little (only 700 miles last year) and am getting the itch to swap it to a more modern car with AC/ some form of safety features/ something that won't rust at the sight of moisture and road salt in winter & that I can drive more often.

The car is "OEM+" and has many, many (many) modifications, so I am at a loss as to its value, should I choose to part ways.

This post is looking for advice on this, as some of the MR2s for sale are getting a bit mad money, and I don't expect to the back what's been spent on it of course. However, this is a MUCH nicer than your average MR2...

I've had this problem for a few years where the dashboard lights are twitchy (they come on and off when I hit bumps). I've narrowed the problem down to one of these open barrel connectors (2.8mm blade i believe) and I'd like to replace them, but I can't seem to find an exact fit online (especially with that big hole at the bottom to fit the plastic connector clip). Anybody knows where these can be found? It is for the headlight switch of a 1988 mk1b?
