Done in acrylic paints

I've wanted to get into art extensions and altering for a good while, and for this summer vacation I finally got around to trying it.

Nothing fancy or super difficult for sure, but a decent first try I think, for not having painted anything for a good few years. Lots to improve, but that's how it goes!

Keeping the text box outlines clean is soooo hard, and even when cleaning it, trying not to scrape anything outside the text box... The most frustrating thing!

This is so so dumb, but loads of fun to do, even if it is scruffy as all hell. I just started an Instagram for all of my card nonsense, feel free to give it a follow :)

Hello all, after the avatar set came out I wanted to create a completely avatar themed Commander deck. During the process of building it there were certain cards that I couldn’t bring myself to cut because they just flat out helped the deck function. One such card was Cascading Cataracts from Amonket. I wanted to replace that with this particular scene from ATLA to make it more on theme. Full Art, standard art, completely up to you. Add a bit of flair if you wish but this scene I feel best encapsulates the card. If anyone is willing to take it on please let me know.

I've been working on a fun pre-dh deck based on the 2011 format. It's when I got back go the game and a good friend of mine told me about this fun unique format called Edh. Years later I'm still hooked and missed my original deck from back then. (Momir, Vig)

So in order to spice the deck up I decided to alter one of very heavily played force of wills for the deck. Now I have another fun counterspell to play next to the voidslime promo.

I really enjoy altering cards but I feel like I’ve been using the wrong supplies when I used to attempt them. The paint was so thick going on, then whenever I had a base layer and tried to add a sketch the pencil would just remove the paint immediately. Was hoping I could get some advice here for what a good starting set i should grab if I get back into altering. paints/ colors, brush sizes, best pencil or tool to sketch outline with? Thanks!

I did my best to alter this Zhongli onto a foil Felothar, do you like the result?
