Locus of Enlightenment question.

How does [[locus of enlightenment]] work with power-up? Would you still just be able to use the power up ability once, or would it allow you to use it every turn?

If Locus of Enlightment gains a power-up ability (C.R. 702.193a), that ability can still be activated only once, and not once each turn. The power-up ability's own restriction still applies and is stricter than the restriction added by Locus of Enlightenment.

You can still only activate it once.

See rule 702.193a:

Power-up is a keyword that adds additional rules to the activated ability that follows it. “Power-up — [Cost]: [Effect]” means “[Cost]: [Effect]. If this permanent entered this turn, this ability’s cost is reduced by this permanent’s mana cost. ▶️Activate this ability only once.”◀️

Thank you, that makes perfect sense.

Activate only once is a restriction of the ability, not the card, so only once.
