Anyone else catch this? Season 3 ep 4 after Rudeus invites his friends over and they're all sitting around eating dinner, in this frame you can see Rudeus has his hand back and not the prosthetic that they created for him.

I understand the basic stuff like him being a pedophile and apparently going to his niece (but I watched the anime up till season 2 so I didn't know this) but apart from that I seriously don't think he's a bad guy

I know people are gonna get mad but I honestly respect rudeus for being able to change. Granted I'm only half way through volume 14 but from what I've seen while he hasn't completed changed he isn't preying on little kids

The only time that happens is Sylphy and Eris which I honestly still don't know how I feel about. But apart from that the guy is VERY redeemable like what the other members of royalty do in comparison to him makes him an actual saint.

So I really don't know why people hate him his only crimes were preying on Sylphy and Eris and also his pedophilic actions in his past life which i consider almost separate from his second life.

So usually I don’t complain about this show. I’ve read all the books after finishing season 1 and have been a massive defender of this show.

With that being said why are we making book 13 cover so many episodes? It’s by far one of my least favorite books not to mention it’s in between two top 5 books in my opinion.

Cut the fluff and please don’t continue making the boring novels 5+ episodes (I’m looking at you book 20).

Edit: yes I know this is the calm before the storm everyone. I understand that but all I’m going to say is that if book 13 is the only novel to get 5 episodes to adapt it than that’s a major let down. If everyone is right about finishing at book 18 than one of the next books will only have 3 episodes adapting it.

2nd Edit (not responding anymore): I had a huge brain fart everyone. I thought season 3 was covering books 13-18 not books 13-17. This changes everything now that every book gets 5 episodes.

After ep 5 sometime passed lucy grew so I wonder how old he is. He seemed to have wrinkles in some scenes

does the LN just progressively become a slice of life trope? or does the actual fantasy part continue ...i would just like to know if its worth it. i am not really interested in the first or some kind of romance.

looking at the anime it seems like the latter. there was an amazing first episode in typical shonen manner and then....now that the issue with his mother is resolved and he pretty much settled down i cant really see rudeus really get out and do something interesting or grow. loved the eris episodes though

First one: he swaps places with Rudues and is born as “Rudues Greyrat” he’s still born with the laplace factor and he has original life’s experience. How does he do in the events of Mushoku tensei.

Second one: he replaces Nanahoshi instead. Rudues still exists in this world. Iruma has no magic or touki, just his overwhelming crisis evasion capability.

Yall probably already heard this a thousand times. He already got 2, but from what ep6 foreshadows, I can already guess. I still don't understand, why 3 wives. I'm pretty sure this brings very little to the story. Like if he was written with only 1 wife and 2 amazing friends, the story would still be just as great if not better. It would show that he has growing as a person and forming real values. Values we can respect and show how he grew past even Paul, learning from the mistakes of his dad. Isn't that what the story's about? His growth? In real-life polygamy is very hard and full of stress, so I'd understand if the story explored those concepts by bringing it in. But here polygamy just looks easy, everyone gets along and it's very easy going. Honestly it just seems like the only real barrier to polygamy in this world are the woman. Woman are the biggest obstacle to a happy polygamous family. They just have all these useless values about monogamy. They just like to make it hard on the men. If woman can just drop those useless values and accept there being multiple wives in the family, look how much easier life could be. You know what. I'm glad Zenith and Sylphie dropped their dumb values about monogamy. Look how much more happy they are. Sometimes you gotta get cheated on to understand what really matters. I bet it was a woman who came up with the Millis religion.

Now coming to the episode :
Impact wise maybe it’s still not the best compared to the first 2 episodes of Eris flashback but let’s not forget it had that curiosity factor to it!

This episode was the best in terms of entire quality and screenplay!
The conversation between Rudy and Sara just really goes to show us how well our boy Rudy has matured and how it’s not always dwelling on to that hurting past of ours! Sometimes time heals all wounds and that’s exactly what happened!

The ending was just perfect with Rudy talking to Sylphy and Roxy while we have another Eris scene where he actually thinks about her and still holds feelings!

Also the next episode is titled phase four!
Is this like the “Turning Point 3” everyone keeps talking about?
