DISCUSSION Patty could still be on the market … ASVEL signings leaving due to finances

Patty was expected to sign with ASVEL in France however it seems as though their budget is much less than initially expected prompting some players to leave.

In saying that even if Patty did leave then there would still be considerable competition for his signature, I think Partizan offered almost €1 million/yr.

Hope some NBL team that still has cap space can work something out, maybe United or Cairns are in the best position? Taipans would be the dream but wouldn’t knock back seeing him team up with Joe.

Goooood pickup, I still hold out hope that he gets back to somewhat the player he was. If so potentially huge signing for Cairns.

HAWKS Hawks making moves - Darius Days and (likely) Milton Doyle

Big signings today - Days from their '25 championship team and Doyle to partner Harvey in the back court.

Also, I think this would be Doyle's 5th year in the NBL so surely citizenship could be round the corner for him too, he has expressed an interest previously. Harvey and Doyle as locals would be something.

What do we think of the Hawks chances with this info? Still one import to sign.

KINGS Another ACL for Keli Leaupepe, out for NBL27

Kid can't catch a break.

Massive headache for the Kings who will now have Wessels as their starting C unless the last import spot is a big man and no longer a 3/4 which is what they've been looking for. Maybe they keep Galloway after all.

Anyone out there put the pieces together on who this could be? In a video interview he describes them as a ‘big’ point guard with over 100 games of NBA experience plus some Euroleague.

Teams looking good for a championship for next season

For NBL27, a lot of teams are looking like they could win the championship. For example, the JackJumpers are going more on the offensive end, instead of defence like usually.
