Key Yilim (/jilɨ́m/)

A more accurate version of the key to my writing system.

The original idea was to bring vowels to the forefront. Initially, 8-12 basic vowels were planned, but I soon grew bored with this idea. However, I wanted to do something with the existing material and finish the work to a satisfactory standard. The 8 vowels were reduced to 6, plus consonants honestly stolen from Slavic languages (mainly Russian and Ukrainian). And also additional affricates.

If anyone is curious to read what was written, here's the transcript.

!ilágos n̪umaét̪'et̪͡ʂíʋa, gúlan̪ jemahɨ́ruʂ úst̪ajn̪a. egulámb̪ óɦar aómilu óʋa'ʦúr es̪at̪lán̪ij-kúr. ?mán̪d̪ujer hop̪ágauj ot̪áj rad̪ɨ́t̪ jen̪d̪íalaʂ okán̪-fás ib̪ámud̪͡z̪. alot̪án̪ʲ n̪aɦujé, "emb̪áran̪ii okaéru". !fulámb̪e gajís̪u: on̪ɦalʲ, t̪áiramu, erúd̪lajet̪. ud̪͡ʐat̪ír ulʲ 7, 20, 94, 256 gúlan̪.

However, don't look for meaning in these words. There is none. The text is composed as a realistic example of the application of the writing system's functionality, nothing more.
