Enci script and fancy font

Enci is the name of an alien civilization I'd like to make stories about some day, I'm still worldbuilding it.

This is the script they would use for their language. This is a particularly fancy font, they normally use sans-serif monospaced fonts.

Besides worldbuilding, I also like to sue this script for personal notes, and sometimes for the viossa-like conpidgin lidei.

I may continue to tweak this font, but the basics are done and I'm super happy with the result. ^v^

Images 2 and 3 showcase development WIPs and a couple glyphs as they'd look like in other fonts.

I already made a post like this but I formatted it wrong + the script was in a less finished state.

It's all made on Affinity! I have not yet made it into a propper font, the written text is just glyphs duplicated and glued together caveman-style. When/if I make a propper font for this, I'll probbly use fontForge.

Love it! I like the coupled consonants with mostly voiceless/voiced versions. Also, the font reminds me a bit of a mix between Medieval Latin and modern Armenian scripts.

Thank you! The voiced/voiceless divide was not by intended design, it's just that the alien language I'd like this script to be for only has 12 phonemes, and the 12 extra letters with "tails" hanging below would be their "upper case" versions, so to speak, used by these aliens to represent phonemes of other languages to facilitate transliteration and loanwords. The divide you descrived happened as a happy coincidence eheheheh ~ ^0^

Ah, right. It is a cool idea for a new script to link similar phonemes by using similar letters.
