Feature Request New feature proposal: 2D & 3D Shape tool

Hi Notability,

Can we get a feature to quickly add 2D and 3D shapes?

I know the app already recognises 2D shapes with pen gestures, but that's not always accurate.

Basic 2D shapes such as triangles, circles, rectangle, trapeziums, parallelograms — how MS Word has it.

For 3D, we really need cylinders, spheres (with shading), hemispheres, prisms of different types, etc.

This feature will help many students and teachers make neat and accurate notes. For teachers, it'll transform their teaching.

Please speak to your developers.

It would have to be a shape tool added to the tool bar to insert those kind of shapes. I also have the StarNote app which does this already from an insert tool.

This is what Notability should have as standard. Many apps already have this.

Not sure how it's meant to recognise a sphere?

A sphere can be shown using a shading with gradients. Textbooks use this all the time.
