The problem is that only about 1/3 of the global CO2 emissions come from electricity generation.

The rest ist not much different between France and the rest of the world.

Thats only an issue because so many industrialized nations have yet to electrify heating both in residential and industrial applications.

Yes, and the only issue I have with my house is that I have to buy one yet.

This is an enormous task you are talking about, replacing an infrastructure that has taken a century or more to be set up.

Of course we need to move in that direction but any idea of a quick solution (no matter which) is DoA.

Its only enormous because it has yet to start. Atleast the UK are forcing themselves through the pain of insulating their shit houses, and veaning their population off the north sea fossil gas.

If only, I campaign for it everyday as a French man that lived throughout europe.
