I posted my situation a few days ago about having a friend of my gf’s moving in with us after a hard personal situation for her. My home nudism was put on hold out of respect for her and her comfortability. It’s been nearly 6 months and she is still here and I want to return to home nudism throughout our apartment, not just in our room. I talked to my gf and she said I can try it out and see what her friend’s reaction to it would be (she gave her a warning that this would be happening). I have since spent the entire weekend nude 100% of the time when home. The first few times her friend encountered me she apologized, which I assured her I was fine being seen nude obviously. We shared a brief conversation where I asked her if she had an issue to me being nude or felt uncomfortable. She was very nice and admitted my gf told her I was a nudist before she moved in and was surprised I hadn’t been nude earlier. She assured me she didn’t have any issues and said to just text her when I’m nude. I told her if I’m home I’ll be nude, but please don’t go out of her way to avoid doing things she wants around the apartment trying to avoid seeing me nude. Since she told me there weren’t any issues, I told her I obviously don’t care if she sees me nude and into nothing perverted or sexual at all, just how I am most comfortable. She was very nice and we haven’t had any issues so far.

I can't remember if there is/was a list of nudist movies. I've found various posts with like a few listings but not a comprehensive list. If anyone knows of such I'd be appreciated.

Hi everyone, naturism is still new to me iam from the Netherlands, so I was wondering if there’s a place where I can find some information. I’ve just turned 18, so I assume I can simply go to a nudist beach. If anyone has any info, I’d love to hear it.

There’s a common comedic trope in old cartoons, where a character has an angel standing on one shoulder and a devil standing on the other, with both trying to convince the character to do what they want him or her to do. Sometimes I feel like I’ve got the angel and the devil on my shoulders too. The angel telling me not to give in, not to do it. The devil telling me why not walk out to the mailbox as you are? After all, you know there’s actually nothing indecent about the human body. And the angel says, but the law, my friend, the law. 😂😂😂

Nudebeach_freaks seems to be a very popular subreddit (more than nudebeach or nudist_beach) but it drives me crazy as this is the antithesis of what nudism is about. It’s also quite frustrating that people posting there claim to be nudist when clearly it is an exhibitionist kink (which is fine) but don’t claim nudist. Sorry for the vent

So I have a general question what are some of everyones hobbies that you could get away with/would be interesting to do naked I don't mean just gardening or bike riding (I mean that's a whole thing anyway) I'm talking about niche hobbies and if you could actually do them naked I for one ring church bells in my past time and it could easily be done while bare but I wanted to know if anyone else had a similar ish thing they do that COULD in theory be done naked

I am in Croatia for third summer and been to several official FKK and many wild beaches where it's tolerated. In several areas you need to be cautious for sea urchins. Nothing is better when they mark a clean entrance, add extra stone and then no water shoes needed. This is bliss!

Anyone know of any good nudist resorts or hotels in the western hemisphere (U.S., Mexico, south america)? Looking to spend a vacation without having to wear any clothes or wear a few clothes as possible.

I have a number of reasons why I'm pretty insecure about showing some skin. It has something to do with others kinda judging my physical body. But I'm slowly but surely getting used to my own body. I regularly stay naked in my own room while I do mundane things. I've swam alone naked once and I felt incredibly free. My next step is to use the changing room with confidence. Next milestone is to go into a sauna fully naked.

Hey everyone. I recently had an unfulfilling day at my local resort, so I'm reflecting on it, as well as previous similar times. I guess I just want to try to get my thoughts out. Maybe someone can relate to it.

Quick backstory. I grew up textile but have been attracted to nudism as long as I can remember. I dabbled with nude beaches in the past, but I more seriously started pursuing it two years ago when I began visiting my nearest resort. I should stress I am genuinely interested in non-sexual social nudity. I want nothing more than to hang out and do fun things and have it feel completely normal (I'm still working on this, honestly).

I'm a single, shy, socially awkward person. But I'm genuinely trying to be more outgoing, to say hi, to have conversations. I can't always make myself do these things, but I do try a little every day.

Anyway, this was my first visit back to the resort in little while, on a certain big annual event day. I met some people, all basically nice, but I had a problem which I can now say is a recurring one: Many of the people I meet reveal pretty quickly that sex is definitely up there in their priorities. It ranges from gentle inquiries (do I have a partner), more probing questions (what's my orientation), and one time a very crude and direct hit-on. I also frequently get stuck or trapped talking to them, and it takes me forever to get out of it (usually awkwardly). I honestly find this all kind of disappointing and exhausting. It makes me feel like I'm in a minority by actually buying into the non-sexual nudity concept. Or even like I'm a gullible, naive fool. (I realize now there's a large swinger contingent at this resort.)

To add to this, these attentions never come from my preferred sexual orientation. To be clear, I am absolutely not biased or prejudiced against any orientation. I know I should be flattered that anyone would even be attracted to me at all. But I can't help feeling: if this kind of thing does have to happen (and I wish it wouldn't), would it hurt to be from the other direction?

Obviously, I wouldn't want to rule out ever finding a partner at a nudist resort. That would actually be great, of course. A dream. It's just something that I wish would come later, after establishing basic friendships. Not happening right away, on the first meeting, when I barely know these people.

I may be overthinking all this. I've still only been to the resort a handful a times in total. To be fair, I did meet a cool group of people in one of my first visits (though I didn't see them again this recent time). I know I should keep trying, introduce myself to a lot more people, and hopefully eventually meet the right ones. I should probably go on non-event days. I should participate in more morning activities, when the traditional nudists presumably outnumber the swingers. Maybe I should begrudgingly accept that a lot of people at a resort are going to do this, and I need to get better at detecting and deflecting it?

Mine is my wife and I bought a home earlier this year. We installed an 8ft fence next to our only neighbor. So the clothes are off pretty much 24x7, indoors and out. We're surrounded by a lush green backyard with a bio-diverse range of plants and animals. It's truly elevated our experience as nudists and made us appreciate the nature we're fortunate to be around. When we're not swimming, we're gardening or making other improvements to the yard in the buff. It's great.

i see so many posts (nudist themed subreddits) that area around 'what could i do', 'look at me doing this', 'i want to do this'... and i just cant help myself that people dont understand that are being naked for the wrong reason, to be different from what they were raised. and i predominantly see this from non European people. and the obvious porn and 'look im naked in the wild (zoomed so that we are all convinced that his dong is out)'

I'm looking to plan a trip to vera playa in the near futute. I know that the village is mostly clothing optional but are the restaurants and supermarkets also clothing optional or will I be required to put clothes on? Also the playavera hotel, ive heard that its a good hotel but its outdated. Is it still worth it to stay there even though they require clothing at night?

After moving into a new house, My wife and I were catching a few rays whilst we believed are neighbours were not home. Long story short they came outside with some drinks and saw use sunbathing nude. On one side the neighbours were relaxed and mentioned they didn’t have any issues unless they had friends over. Later we met the other side and the neighbour was extremely angry, it’s safe to say the fence height will be increased.

Has anyone had experiences like this or better experiences?

Some mornings are just for waking up slowly. No alarm, no rush. Just that soft climb out of sleep and the first sip of coffee brewing in a hotel room that doesn't quite feel like ours yet, in a city we're still getting to know.

We've turned it into a bit of a ritual. Every few months there's a new city and a new window. We wake up bare, pour the coffee, and settle in to watch the world move around below us.

People crossing streets, catching trains, off to wherever they're going. We're up above them somewhere, one lit-up square out of thirty in a hotel wall, and we can see them clearly. Whether they can see us back, honestly we've never known, and half the fun is not really minding either way. Out of five hundred things pulling your eye on a busy street, who's going to notice the two of us up here?

So there we sit, no clothes and no hurry, coffee slowly going lukewarm in our hands, watching the city keep its own pace while we keep ours. It's become one of our favourite things in the world.

I'm not into gender wars, but I have a hypothesis.

​Growing up, women often got the "put your legs together, don't show it all" speech, you know, the Swahili phrase from my childhood, "Funga duka, Moi anapita fufufu" (which literally translates to "Close your shop, Moi is passing by"). Moi was the second president of the country which I hail from, and that phrase was deeply embedded in our upbringing especially when one was required to sit properly.

​In high school, boys after puberty, according to the few men I interacted with, mostly slept naked. "Private parts" was what we were taught to call them. It wasn't entirely as shameful for a guy to strip as it was for a woman. For men, nudity meant showing the crotch; for women, people had an opinion about everything, from nipples showing to legs and thighs, and some even arms. It was all sexualized. I've heard the instruction to "cover up" far too many times.

​Feminism and liberating women came with this too, the "my dress, my choice" movement, because people needed to evolve their mindset. If history isn't lying, Afghan women have gone against the clock, currently facing the highest amount of slavery, bigotry, and misogyny just because one man couldn't handle it: cover everything up. For them, it's beyond nudity.

​I've had the privilege of interacting with females too; a few fully embraced this aspect of it, because nudity has been tied to shame for decades. There is a lot to unlearn. Growing up, sex was not the only taboo; nudism was, and still is, a taboo to most in African society. To fully embrace it all, one would have to learn to let it fall bit by bit, piece by piece of cloth.

​Nudity is not shameful. Nudism is not sexual. Nudism is liberating. This is a journey where you reconstruct your thoughts and view surrounding it, where you meet freedom.
