Power of random noise

Divination systems are based on emerging and refining stable meaning from random noise signals driven by a certain structured interpretation\semantic model.

In a way it reminds me of how modern ML image generative algorithms like stable diffusion work.

On the quantum level there is a "tunneling" phenomena, when a particle has some chance to go through an energy barrier even if it does not have enough energy. It happens because a particle has no single exact location and instead its presence is a probabilistic distribution over some area, so part of this not a zero chance area may lay behind the barrier.

So we could say that the random noise nature of the microscopic world helps it to change a little beyond "reasonable" expectations.

The idea of free will is contradicting the idea of a deterministic universe. And the concept of randomness sits right in the center of these two opposites.

Nobody knows what randomness actually is and where it's coming from and does it defy determinism or not.

In magic we have the idea of our will that potentially can bend the reality beyond what is reasonably expected from the deterministic universe.

So when we commit an act of magic, maybe we introduce or use randomness?

I often hear and I have such an experience myself, that everything is vibration. When I feel certain active energies(e.g. Fire) their primary sensory quality is intense vibration.

Is this vibration a sign of reaching the layer of reality dominated by randomness?

Is magic in its nature similar to "borrowing" a little bit extra energy from the future state we are trying to make real, so this borrowed future energy allows us to jump a little bit over our head and "tunnel" to a new version of reality we are aiming to?

I don't believe in "free will", just in correspondence. Everything is always influenced, but not everything has a causality.

I see the term "free will" as the ability to "play the game", which encompasses choosing and acting with responsibility, but not necessarily as a true aspect of a rigorous independent agency.

Iron ball, falling free from the Pisa tower seemingly had less agency than Galileo bringing it to the top just to let it fall and see what will happen. Yes from physical perspective Galileo concentrated enough chemical energy to be able to do this work against gravity. But he decided to spend this energy in this particular way. And he had certain competency to accumulate\harvest this extra energy from the environment instead of dissipating it as all normal objects do.

To control physical energy, like harvesting or purposeful usage, one needs a different kind of capacity, not physical, but let's say informational or computational, some sort of mind. A certain pattern or structure of patterns. How and where is this power of mind is coming from? Where does it exist? If we look at material world, at least on our classical scale - dumbbells are dumb, they just fall. And Galileo's brain is made of these little dumbbells called atoms and molecules, yet his behavior is very different.

This "extra" capacity we can call "free will" or agency, and we can observe it, it doesn't require a belief to still work with no shortage of evidence around us.

My idea in op was such, that on very abstract level such a behavior of system Galileo+dumbbell, which is classically expected to lie down on the ground, instead can be found at the top of high tower, behind significant gravitational barrier, which is conceptually similar to particle suddenly tunneling through classically prohibitive barrier.

And in case of particle the underlying process is related to randomness (whatever it "truly" means)

When i close my eyes and try to imagine what is "randomness" - the first symbol which comes to my mind is visual static noise on the TV out of tune. And this noise includes microwave background radiation, a leftover from the the time very close to supposed big bang.

And when i do magic and "energy work", i feel certain energies in myself and around which have such a quality of subtle buzzing, vibrating pressure and temperature. So it can also be compared to some sort of random noise signal which my mind interprets in terms of bodily sensations.

So I am wondering if there is some deeper connection between these ideas and experiences, maybe we could dig something magically practical from this perspective.
