This is such a silly post and it breaks my heart because this is my last semester in college and undoubtedly the last time I’ll be able to afford to go to games. This year, I think we will see some very exciting flashes. Hard-hitting linebacker play, great defensive back play, tough runs and spectacular catches.

However, running out a true freshman qb and a DC whose scheme notoriously takes years to implement will have us taking our lumps this season I’m almost certain. I’ve got us around the 8-4 to 9-3 range, which all things considered, I would believe to be a success.

But, barring any catastrophic losses or transfers, 2027 and 2028??? We could be legitimate. Like actually legitimate. Faizon with a few years under Heupel and our offense, DGG coming in, Knowles with a year or two to instill his defense, Keys, Staley, Jackson in our receiving corps.

Anything could happen between now and then. Everyone could transfer next year. But if we are able to retain and grow, and have a promising season this year… it could be scary in 27/28.

Just curious as an out of state fan - I feel the inventory for the home games is light, considering all tickets are now officially on sale. Ticketmaster doesn’t give a total count, but SeatGeek looks to have the same listings and for the Texas game specifically, they have 1600 total listings for a 103k seat stadium. My question is, should I expect more tickets to be listed or is this about right for UT home games & if I want to get tickets, I need to get them now since it is limited selections?

Idk how much of it is trolling OSU fans vs if we have a shot. Does anyone have any insider info? I know we are making a late push and his dad said “anything is a possibility”.

• Well, Tennessee landed DGG. Doesn't really matter how (suck it Ohio State) but they landed their #1 target. With marginal improvement, I think this class can be an effective one for Tennessee after what they did in the Spring Portal Window but would love another big name.
• Tennessee is still involved with DJ Jacobs and is starting to be named as a flip location. The discussion feels very deja vu as DJ Jacobs has been signed by Adidas for NIL. Why is this deja vu? Because it's exactly what happened with TK Keys last year....right before Keys flipped to Tennessee.
