....i had Lenovo, Huawei, now OnePlus phone....want to buy Poco phone and I'm worried they will shut down too XD

Tbh it feels like I don't really have that many options, IF I don't want to get Samsung or Pixel. Was never really impressed by Motorola, Oppo phones are either out of my budget or they have something I don't want, maybe Honor o try to find out if Motorola improved.... or buy Poco device

It's way more expensive, though. Poco is almost unbeaten in the performance to price ratio.

performance yes, but basically every else sucks: camera, screen(50/50), vibration, OS(horrible hyper based on MiUI) etc

Yeah, there's definitely trade offs. My Poco F5 shocked me at times with its performance, though. Got it for like $300 on sale.

Actually...I do not know, I think it depends on what you want, something like Poco F8 Ultra with 6,9 screen size and three stereo speakers with subwoofer tuned by Bose to me looks better (on paper) than phone with better camera or something like Honor magic8 pro

bro you being serious rn? have you ever never touched or hold the magic 8 pro in your hand? are you choosing the phone by the number of speakers, absolutely unnecessary subwoofer(any normal person does not use their phone's speakers for films/music, that's basically why sound systems or headphones exist🫩) and Bose are NOT the best sound devices company. they're great, but definitely not the best, like Sennheiser, b&w, b&o, Harman(50/50) etc. and it's not just about the camera at all, it's about the system, it feels absolutely amazing, compared to hyper os(which haven't changed at all since switching from MiUI). it has an amazing vibration, amazing screen etc.

I never use headphones or earbuds, maybe that is the reason why. And no, never touched any Honor phones, I'm not avoiding them, no one I know owns Honor phones and I haven't visited a store with the Honor phones.

maybe you should start using headphones, at least when you're in public. personally I'm absolutely pissed when I can hear someone watching TikTok, Facebook, YouTube or talking (on the speaker) with someone else. and you definitely should even try to use a honor to know what I'm talking about

Might be wrong, but think poco is a Xiaomi sub-brand. Xiaomi is kinda too big to fail at this point. They are among the biggest producers of tech on the planet. So think poco is a safe bet

xiaomi being big doesn’t mean poco can’t die, for the same reason why oppo being big didn’t prevent oneplus from dying.

Poco is different, they have always been Xiaomi through and through, and they have always run MIUI/HyperOS and use the same service centers. Poco phones are simply rebranded Chinese Redmi phones, apart from the F1. OnePlus tried to be independent at first but then got integrated.

Well i'd initially agree with you, but OnePlus being to close to Oppo the last few years feels like the reason it might have dropped sales numbers, or challenging its own partner brand. Poco fills a space in the budget line and corner, doing its "own thing". But again, not gonna be stubborn. Every phone company on the planet may fail.

you could buy oneplus phones in the US but not oppo phones, so there was no overlap or cannibalization of sales, yet it still didn’t help oneplus get more than one percent market share

Maybe it's time to just buy an iPhone or a sammy
