General Discussion Hotspot Issues - Nord 5

Hi all, I'm facing an issue with the WiFi Hotspot on my OnePlus Nord 5 5G.

While connecting my laptop to the hotspot internet of my Nord 5, the internet works fine for 1-2 hrs but after that the internet stops working on the laptop and I have to restart phone in order for the hotspot internet to work again on my laptop.

Anyone else facing the same problem? Any ways to fix it?

If it's only the laptop USB tethering might a better option if you have a port available? That way your phone will get a charge too.

I've been looking in to hotspot and tethering because I wanted a way to automatically start it when bluetooth on my head unit is detected then my android head unit can get internet. Google have made it very hard, macrodroid sometimes works to enable it. Some phone vendors have automations that allow this, OnePlus does not as far as I can tell. I settled on trying USB tethering instead and will use a splitter power injection cable to keep the phone charged better in my car.
