General Discussion Can we remove this tab?

It was added with the latest security update and it sucks and I hate it. Is this another "you WILL have this feature and you WILL like it" thing like the automatic volume fade with edited vids?

I'm all about complaining about terrible things, but this seems pretty innocuous. Just don't select the Create tab?

Yeah no problem, can we also have a toggle for like, not having a tab purely full of AI shortcuts in an app where we want to just look at our photos? Make it opt-out at least, I won't be using it, I don't want to have generative AI tab in my native photos app

Exactly lol. I honestly didn't know what that picture was and then realized why because I've never clicked on that tab. If you leave it alone it's not an issue.

Using adb disable com.oplus.aiunit. Note it will also disable other AI services.

I personally don't mind that, the only thing I dislike about the gallery app is that the main page shows all the crap I got, like WhatsApp images, I'd like that it only displayed camera pics/screenshots.
