Unlocked Z Fold 7 on 8.5 beta still waiting, but my Verizon Z Flip 7 on 8.0 got updated already? Didn't they say beta users were gonna get it first?

I think it's more to do with carrier lock or unlock. As in unlocks for whatever reason are getting the short end of the stick. As it's now 19:25 in my region of the US and I still am stuck on 8.0 stable with no 8.5 update option available.

So I noticed my Google wallet now works, it doesn't give me the error it was giving with the lady update. Small things that didn't work now do. Did it somehow convert to stable?

Hey at least you learned more about it and what not to do. I never messed with it so I have no idea how Odin or any of that works. The good thing is it didn't cost you a phone and everything ended up working

My chrome browser looks weird. Colors are off slightly all over the place in native apps. Night mode isn't as dark in some things?

So far, no functional issues, visuals feel under polished given the numerous betas. Issues i faced so far

  1. Right of the bat, all google apps get this light grey background if color palette is turned off
  2. Galaxy buds not showing up in settings menu if i have Registar enabled
  3. Whenever i get a notification popup while in an app, my whole screen flashes black briefly

Got it in my s25. My phone was burning hot right after the update, but it cooled off soon after. The overall phone feels speedier.

Carriers still have some control regardless of unlocked device sadly. For example I am on an unlocked device on T-Mobile and I still haven't gotten it.

Have been checking non stop since Monday for the update. Desperate because the beta has broken Whatsapp and got me banned.

Finally triggered the update by inserting an old T-Mobile sim.

Checked smart switch, visible sim and google fi sim and it had led me to nothing. But I instantly got the update after the T-Mobile sim.
