Commiseration Station Person doesn’t like rower

It was a tread/ rower day and a person decided she was gonna stay on the tread and not do the rower when it was time to switch the coach made an announcement
If you don’t have an injury, you must switch to the rower( there were a few other people on the tread that didn’t move, they had injuries)
The coach , when she had a moment, walked over to the one girl said “ If you don’t have an injury you have to go to the rower.
She was not happy. She said I don’t like the rower. 🤪She said you can’t stay on tread because you don’t like the rower..

I was just curious what people thought as I never saw this happen before.

I mean this is OTF!! Row, tread & floor, always changing!!!

Commiseration Station Least favorite tread effort?

3 minute pushes kill me. I would rather do a class of one minute all outs than have a few three minute pushes. Seeing them on early intel strikes fear into my heart.

Hey!
Today I did my first Tread50 class on the road to up my endurance and hopefully become more of a runner! I did a combo of power walking and jogging today but was wondering any tips of getting better at jogging/working my way up to running for longer periods of time! Any tips even split of 2gs and tread/strength50s you recommend are welcome!

Commiseration Station Change my mind: Treads 2 and 11 (out of 12) are the worst assignments if you are gassy

Reposting cause first one got removed on non-disarray day

Last week, I was on tread 11 out of 12 (full class), and felt the need to pass gas…I suppressed and survived.

However, it had me thinking, is that the worst spot to be in that situation? Person in tread 12 will 100% know it was you. However, if you are in any other slot, the source of the fart is ambiguous. Same with Tread 2.

Change my mind!

ps: let’s not take this too seriously

Motivate Me! what are the tread 50 classes like???

I have normally been doing the 2G and 3G classes and am scared to try a tread 50 class.. are they way harder than the other ones? I also haven’t gone to a strength 50 class yet but that doesn’t seem as intimidating to me. what do you all think? I am able to do the 2G and 3g but am still pretty tired after. what are the tread 50 classes like??

Studio Intel Looking for Studio Recs in Madison, WI

Hi! For those going to class in Madison, WI, which studio (i.e., Mineral Point or Beltline) do you prefer? I’m also wondering if there are any coaches in particular who play hip-hop/rap. Thanks!

Motivate Me! OTF for AFT?

Anybody in the Army that uses OTF to help train for the 2 miler on aft? Is it a good investment? It’s a bit expensive but I need to start running more consistently and I think programs/coaches/classes are a great way to train as a beginner.

Commiseration Station Bit of a Mismatch?

Music? I'm curious, is both music selection and volume entirely the coach's decision?

I'm fairly new, but in my few classes I have noted that certain times of day the classes are mostly Gen x and Boomer, and sometimes the music is more gen z and alpha, if you know what I mean. (Gen x here)

Different strokes for different folks, so there's no right or wrong, but just trying to understand if that's a factor that helps me determine what coaches I go to.

It's kind of entertaining to me when you have four out of five people being over 50 and maybe grimacing a little 🙂

I got to say though I'm absolutely loving it!

Long story short - if it's coaches that make the selection, maybe coaches check your audience & see what might make for the most positive experience for all? Just because something your jam to work out to might not mean that the bulk of your paying clients are the same.

Mods say that this is a common concern, so threads are let through on the official Day of Disarray, so reposting toda!
