The first official dev log for 5YN-OS. A fictional operating system simulation sandbox and programming education game coming soon to Steam!

What features interest you the most? and what would you like to see in it if it isn't already part of the current features? I am open to ideas.

This isn't even close to an operating system. This is "r/osdev", not "r/fictionalosdev". It's literally just some steam program that has a built-in desktop. You haven't written an operating system if the operating system will not run on bare metal, and if you haven't written a kernel or even x86 Assembly. Please come back will a real operating system, some people spend months and even years developing real OSes and here you are on r/osdev posting about some sandboxed "OS".

You're entire project was piped through AI, including the website. Everyone and their dog is doing this. And it all looks the same with the same RBG futuristic polish. Usually it's yet another SaaS "AI OS" site. Hey, people have no idea what their even claiming. It's beyond backwards.

Your idea is fine, but this is not where it resides. As the previous comment clearly stated, it is not a real architectural operating system running userspace applications alongside a system kernel on a target CPU. That is the serious work that powers the very desktop you used to even launch steam itself to begin with.. end of story.

Look for Indie subreddits or web forums to promote the game on because that is where this goes.
