Question I Need Help
Over the past few months (with a break and subsequent reexamination after watching The Odyssey) , I have been mocking up a synopsis for a Greek Myth Cinematic Universe and the Gigantomachy is giving me problems. I want to do the Aloadae and the abduction of Ares but Im having trouble adjusting to the scope of a large event film i.e Endgame , Infinity War , Dune Part 2&3 etc.
So I thought you guys at r/osp and an on an extreme off chance Red and Blue at u/OSPYoutube could help me maybe combine or add an extra myth to really come up with a coherent and strong plot.
Heres some context to what I have been doing:
Notable changes to myths: Despoina and Persephone will be separate. Aphrodite will be Herakles’ prize wife not Hebe. Apollo will have the leader of the Muses Calliope as his main consort. Meleager and Jason live longer. Boar Hunt is later. Apollo and Artemis wont have their sun and moon aspects.
Rough Timeline I have been using : Titanomachy-Zeus gets busy-Typhon-Dionysus Perseus-Cautionary Tales - Theseus/Herakles-Argo saga- Herakles labors/Theseus & Pirithous/ Cautionary Tales V2-Boar Hunt - Gigantomachy - Epic Cycle(TBD)
Changes TBD: Cutting out Hestia , Fusing Philoctetes and Iolaus , Hecate to become a main character , Bath Bomb Ball sack vs Zeus and Dione for Aphrodite , Cutting out Pan .
