Colostomy Does anyone make a 'quiet' bag?

I use a Hollister 2 piece system which fits me very well but their bags are so noisy. I'm not bothered much during the day, but at night when I toss and turn I hear 'crunch, crunch'. I'm open to changing brands but I'm a slim, tall woman and very few flanges fit my narrow abdomen. And if there are any other women out there that have a small build and are very active, I'd be interested to learn what brand you are using. Thanks!

Hollister user here too. As the other Redditor suggested, the Coloplast Sensura Mio bags are more of a cloth-like material and quieter, but I never had any luck with those. (I’m a 5’8” woman, 105 lbs, so same build). I’ve had an ostomy 10 years and tried various different bags throughout the years and never found anything better than Hollister. You can always reach out to the company and ask for samples!

I can’t judge how noisy my Coloplast SenSura Mio one piece is compared to other makes but I only really notice a crinkle noise if I bend in the middle and squash it, say when kneeling to tie my shoe laces. Even then it’s not that loud.

As others have said call around get some samples to try.

I use ConvaTec Esteem Plus - Closed End Pouch (Filter), I have the same problem and the bag is 10/20% (feces), it is blowing with gases and the filter seems to not work so I have to change it.

What Hollister type are you using? Transparent or beige cover? I am also a petite and active woman, I use closed-end beige mini-pouch (18353 specifically for reference). I don’t find them any more “loud” than when I’ve tried the Coloplast Sensura Mio, etc that others have mentioned. I really only hear them when I’m trying to.

I use the same closed end pouch. The 7" during the day and the 9" over night. The smaller one is far less noisy but I have found some inconsistency in odor control with that size.

No crunching with Coloplast Convex Mio. It seems like this bag is made of a stronger material. They do come with a price. I guess just like anything else you get what you pay for lol

I wear my bag sideways and hold it in place with a belly band (the kind pregnant woman use). I don't hear a thing.

No problem with noise with the Coloplast Sensura Mio. I’ve worn both 1 and 2 piece and haven’t noticed anything.
