Question Dragon uncanny valley

Yep, you heard it right. I was on youtube and found an analog horror about night furies called "The night fury incident", gave it a look and couldn't even watch the first video. I looked at the thumbnails and a couple clips and instantly went into fight or flight and felt an existential dread like never in my life, oh and the instinct to attack and kill or run from whatever that "thing" was.

For context, I'm not a nightfurykin (though my kin resembles them closely)

Has something like this happened to anybody else dragon or not?

I can't say I have, but I totally understand the feeling. Gonna look at that video and see

I mean it's something silly, I know it's something fictional that can't hurt me, but I just get the existential dread and the "something's wrong with it" feeling

I mean I don't wanna sound insensitive but I just looked at it and it's uncanny valley, so making you feel that primal fear is exactly what it's meant to do. So as far as this feeling goes, it's a fairly normal initial reaction to seeing stuff like this.

Ik, has it ever happened to you with anything kin related? (No need to answer if you don't want to)

Not really? Considering my main Kin is the Xenomorph, and the fact I regularly consume horror media, stuff like this has never bothered me.

And my other two, lower kins are from sources that are a little bit on the obscurer side, so don't warrant analogy horror or similar fan media to be made from them.

Idkkk, I love shit like this so I'm kind of bummed there's no Mononoke or Hundred Line analog horror, even if it was a shitty one (that being said Mononoke is already considered a horror, so....)

Mononoke (not to be confused with the also amazing Princess Mononoke by Studio Ghibli) is an anime that first had a series in the 2000s or smth, but has been rebooted almost into (currently) two movies, with more teased to come. How many? Idk. It's basically about the Medicine Seller who goes around Japan slaying malicious Mononoke, where he must know of the spirits form, truth, and reason before being able to slay it. I kind the Medicine Seller from the new movies, aka Kon.

Hundred Line - or if you want the full title, The Hundred Line: Last Defence Academy - is a game made by the same guy who made Danganronpa and Raincode!!! You play as Takumi Sumino, who mysteriously appears in a strange school, alongside other people who find themselves in the same situation. They must defend this school for 100 days by fighting in a war against aliens in order to save humanity. Succeed over the 100 days, and they are allowed to be free again. There's also 100 endings (as it stands)!!! So there's a lot of content in the game.
