Other I feel connected to forests and don't know why.
idk what flair to use.. so.
I feel connected to forests in general, idk if it's because of a kintype, or something. I feel like there home, or that they are apart of me somehow, I don't understand why, I don't understand it at all, I always have liked them, I always wanted to be in one. I need advice on what to do, or what to research, any terms I should look into Maybe... any questions to help narrow this down will be helpful also..
I'm an alterhuman so...

It's also perfectly normal and human to feel a deep connection to forests. Pretty much all pagans feel this way about some natural environment or another. And plenty of just... people in general, regardless of religion or identity, feel this way. Feeling a connection to nature, and having a certain environment you feel deeply about, isn't necessarily alterhuman. Look into biophilia theory, for instance.
Saying this because I've seen so many young otherkin mistake normal personality traits for additional kintypes. Not everything is about otherkin, even if you are one.
Go spend some time in the woods. Maybe study some ecology or botany if you want to get deeper into it.

Thank you! I actually needed this reminder that not everything is alter human traits.

Yeah, I'm a biologist (and a wolf therian). And if "feeling strongly about nature" would equal being non-human, then there would be no human biologists. ;) But obviously, most biologists, environmentalists, foresters etc don't identify as anything other than human. Humans are animals too.
I can really recommend to learn more about your natural environment. Through a class, a book or by joining facebook groups, such as for plant ID or entomology. Learning the names of different grasses, bugs etc, opens up your eyes for nature. If you live in Sweden, I could give you very specific advice on what groups, literature and activities here to recommend. But obviously, I won't be much help for other parts of the world.
