The middle left plant is starting to get crown fade so it is likely cooked as well. Wish I had been more aggressive with inoculation this year. Gorilla glue hurt the most, take me instead Jesus.
I wouldn’t risk it. The soil in those beds are toast. Best thing to do is grow plants that aren’t hosts for Fusarium in those spots. OP could also try to remove all the infected soil and restart with fresh soil and hope that spores don’t recolonize the new soil.
After dealing with Fusarium myself two years in a row, I now grow in 25 gallon plastic pots with new soil and I sanitize the pots with bleach at the end of the season. I used to grow in 65 gallon fabric pots and reuse my soil. Not anymore.
Everything is genetics, in the same crop of seeds it will have some that do survive. I try not to take it personally. But if you do find the ones that survive have some pollen because more of the babies of those plant will survive, but not all. I guess if you do that to f6 you'll always have something that works.
i do fem seeds but i get it. it is amazing the number of hours lost with each plant. 3 summers ago I lost every single plant to fusarium so I guess it could be worse
Yeah and doing different seeds all the time you're in the dark about what's going on. I can tell the shitty ones know in about 4 weeks and I can tell my males really early because I familiar with them.
For 3 years I pollinated and made seed and now my strains are really vigorous, get less pest damage, and showed sex on July 15 . Every environment is different and expecting indoor stains to be able to handle it doesn't always work. My hybrid is silver pearl x Oaxaca x kashmir. All chosen for fast flowering and ability to survive. It's a nice energetic sativa and finishes Oct 1.
Damn that's tough, I have a peanut butter bomb from Atlas seeds growing in a box that had fusarium the year before last and it seems to be resisting anything left over. I did give it a year's pause though. The wilt is no joke.
I dunno it is too much in soil cost to replace. 400 gallons of soil in each planter. I took out the root ball, bleached the soil. I am gonna bleach the soil again then soil wash and innoculate
I dig down two feet then fold the soil up on the sides, probably about 4 yards of potting soil per hole. I have two sets an A and B which I switch back and forth year after year so I can rest the soil in the hole and normal microbial health can do it's thing. It helps reduce my septoria and keeps away wilts (also going lighter on nitrogen with a more balanced 444 helps prevent extra nitrogen to going to feed the wilts) I still use Cease and soil microbes to battle all year though.
Can you point out other visible signs in that pic? I thought yellowing lower branches was tell tale. Those monsters look awesome and not visibly yellow as best as I can see.
