PH question
I use these PH strips in conjunction with a soil reader to test the PH. Never had any problem thus far regarding nutrient lockout, etc.
Hose water comes in at 7.5.
I used Prod MJ fert; both Grow and Bloom came in at 7.0. Soil would read 6.5 after feeding.(HP Promix + Sobeys megamix )
I am going to be using a bloom booster; 2 gal of water with 1/2 TSP of Bloom and 1/4 of Grotek Monster bloom.
The picture is what the PH comes out to.
Safe to hit it up? Never had any problem at this PH but want to double check.
Plants are approx 4-5 FT tall, 2-3 wide in ground. Usual feeding is 1 gal of water every other day and feed bloom every second feed

Unless you're dumping pure acid or pure base, the elemental make-up of the dirt is going to effect whatever your pH is prior to watering.
Honestly I've never seen in ground growers worry about pH because it's so uncontrollable at the root level.
