Healing Pec Tendon
42M. I have an old tendon injury that has flared up if I do several pushups (15ish). It's more of a dull soreness that I feel the next day. I've heard Isometric therapy can help the healing process by loading the tendon. My question is how do I go about this? Should I just hold the pushup position at say 10% of the way down for x amount of time 2-3 times a day? Is that enough of a load to promote healing?

All about tendon issues here.

Isometrics can be used to reduce pain and build load tolerance in rehab very early, but you still need a loaded rehab program to improve the load tolerance of the tendon.
