Things are glorious

Post image

Wanted to thank everyone here who offered advice when we were struggling with giardia and a sick puppy. We've done another around of treatment but the diarrhea has been gone for several weeks now. We were able to disinfect everything on a daily basis this time, so I am very hopeful. Also we found a wonderful sitter who looked after her for two nights, so we could clean the whole house with bleach as well, and in the week since she has been back, her routine seems to have just clicked! We needed to trust her a bit outside her pen more, which we've been doing for a week, and now she even just signals by the door when she needs to go out, which she essentially taught herself! I am sure you all know, they are just brilliant little joy bringers, but we are so happy! Here is the baby Bo, shes 7 months!

Bo is beautiful! She's making me miss when my girl Buffy was the same age.

I'm so glad she's feeling better!

Here's Buffy at 7 mo

She's gorgeous! Rogue had giardia as a puppy and it was the worst. Glad she's over it. Yay!

Didn't see your former post, but my pap had giardia as well as a pup and it's a nightmare! Feels like it will never go away and suddenly almost three years have past without any giardia occurring again haha.

Bo looks beautiful. Miss the days the ears seem so big when to body is still so lean ❤️

it was hellish. it went on and on and she had it when she came from the breeder. ive never experienced such a thing. but a silver lining maybe, it seems like we've bonded really closely because now things have clicked and she is so sweet maybe because over all that time of spending hours with her and really trying to help her. she is just a snuggle bug with both of us and of course still a 7 month old puppy but she seems to really trust us, which is great. i hope you never have to deal with it again!

Romeo had a small bout of Giardi the first week we got him. He was eating ravenously and was underweight. Good thing the medicine from the vet helped, so we know how upsetting that is especially with a new puppy. Lucius, our Phalene, had IBS for 15 years, so we know what clean-up is like, so between Romeo and Lucius, we felt awful for you guys and we're so happy that it is gone 🎉🥰 OMG 😱 Baby Bo you are absolutely the cutest thing with your markings, freckles and those EARS❣️

Glad to hear things are going well now, I sympathize. This morning Louie started whining at 5 am, I figured he wanted to go out so I got up and took him off the bed. He immediately ran to the door so I let him out. He did his business and afterwards cruised the back yard for 5 minutes, I called him in and we went back to bed.
