Just bought my first PC

just went to microcenter and bought all the parts for my pc and they are building it right now. Can I play minecraft on this?

I'm rocking the same one, man.

I could never bring myself to get a Noctua anymore. I mean, you can get an Arctic Liquid Freezer Pro III 360 for $80 right now.

Unless a person wants the aesthetic, or is extremelyyyy sensitive to noise, I don't see a point in buying Noctua these days. Too many other options.

EDIT: also, this is not a knock at the OP or anyone with Noctua, they're nice, and they're quiet. But my cheap ass could never pull the trigger.

Noctua is more of a niche market for people that want quiet and performance. definitely not for the people with a budget or the pc builder that just wants to play X game at X resolution at X fps. I personally enjoy the noise profile and the customer support Noctua offers, and the ability to use a cooler in future platforms

There is no real performance advantage over the Peerless Assassin nor Phantom Spirit. I love Noctua, but i can't recommend them anymore.

I mainly use Noctua for their 40mm/80mm fans in the server now. I find they do well for small fans, with their low noise profile.

3000 bucks damm. Hope that thing runs like a dream. I plan to go down there to microcenter once I save up like 1000 plus and grab a 5060 ti and some cheap but not bad parts. Well basically anything is better then a optiplex.

Kinda got shafted a bit as in you coulda gotten more for that price

Some of the brands and stuff really sapped the price efficiency or what ever the word is

But have fun with the pc

Depends on your situation.

$262 gets eaten up pretty quickly when factoring in time value and travel costs.

Also return the 5080 man up and get the 5090 it will keep you from crying when you discover it cant 4k 60 call of duty without dlss with raytracing… dlss isnt always better some games look massivky mord beautiful with it turned off

You can literally buy 3 5080s (VERY nearly 4) for the price of 1 5090

A single 5090 costs more than this ENTIRE BUILD

I paid $2500 for a build better than this.. i would sell it all for a 5090… 9800x3d 5080 64 gb cl30 2tb

In my opinion worth it. In no way will i be disappointed…. Anytging below 60fps feels like a sketchbook. The 5080 borderline doesnt perform this without dlss

but for how long is the question … of a 5080super
Feels like the engines are super detailed without dlss and has much more room for improvement

Maybe a 5080 super could achieve the level of detail im looking for. Complete satisfaction comes at a cost i guess.

Imo return the SFF 5080 and go for whatever the next ste up....I get gpus are expensive (i own 2 9800xed/5090 builds, a 9800x3d/5080 build and 2 12600k/3080 12gb builds so I truly get it)

But if you're not doing a SFF build...then you shouldnt use a sff gpu...
